...as well as a pair of boots of elvenkind. Besides that, you also find a packet, carefully wrapped and sealed in waxed fabric.
Onji here the screeching, turns to Dirk saying, "I think we need to come back to this treasure later. I call dibs on the boots. But that wax packet might be important? I figure the clues to this mystery is not gold or gems or even elf booties, but other... ah...stuff. Lets go see if we can kill a living monster!" Said with a smile.
Marin draws his shortbow and readies an arrow. He wants to fire first if anything kicks off with the Harpy as he doesn't believe talking with it about treasure will prevent a fight anyway.

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
The harpy screeches in response to Irtos. "My gold treasure... my gold! It is GONE!!!!" Marin, you recall finding some golden jewellery earlier in the crow's nest that you pocketed.
Seeing the nasty looking club and hearing all the shouting about treasure Marin will try to take Steady Aim and get the first shot in.
"Now!" he signals as he fires.

Initiative order (taking into consideration your swap):
Marin - 25
Harpy - 21
Dirk - 17
Irtos - 10
Onji - 6
Seeing the harpy get ready for a fight, Ash stumbles, his footing failing on the slick, rotting algae of the deck. With a sharp cry, he slips over the railing and hits the water. Before anyone can react, the powerful current sweeps him away from the wreck and into the dark, open sea. He is gone in seconds.

The harpy lets out a furious scream as Marin's arrow pierces her wing. She nearly loses her balance on the crow's nest, shaking her feathers in a rage. Then, she opens her mouth again, but this time, no scream comes out.
Instead, a beautiful, ethereal melody begins to vibrate through the salt air. The song feels warm and heavy, pulling at your minds like a physical embrace, promising peace and safety amidst the wreckage.

Irtos calls back, "What treasure?" She does't remember seeing any treasure where a harpy could reach it.
Marin draws his shortbow and readies an arrow. He wants to fire first if anything kicks off with the Harpy as he doesn't believe talking with it about treasure will prevent a fight anyway.
Onji goes to his pack and dons his armor and grabs his shortbow and puts on his quiver.
Dirk slips on the boots, readies his bow and uses stealth to find a hidden place to snipe this new enemy.

Onji plans to head to the monster without stealth.

Iniative in game log 25
OOC I can switch my 25 with someone as I am just shooting a bow and not sure if I am in line of sight with the monster either.
Irtos init: 10 (in game log). No point in Irtos going first, she'll mostly be patching people up as needed and making weak attacks when she can.
Marin's Initiative: 6
Can I switch initiatives with you Onji?
Yes.
(ooc: is Ash still with us?)

Marin, it's your turn.

Marin will use his shortbow to fire an arrow at the Harpy.
Attack: 21
Damage: 5 piercing.
After he takes his shot Marin will duck into the nearest room seeking cover.
(ooc: accidentally added sneak attack for a total of 9 damage... so I subtracted a d6 for the actual 5 damage.)
