Saprys, seeing that Tusk is having more than a little trouble with the snake accosting him, goes to assist him, hacking at the serpent with his longsword.
Following Feldri's lead, Manon will take a knee. She feels uncomfortable with the show of subservience, but she will not risk offending the chieftain and jeopardizing the mission.

[Strorat, you shouldn't be level 2. Only Tusk would be, since he has previous experience. I'll resolve it as a standard bow attack.]
Strorat's arrow pierces the warlock's side, causing him to drop to the ground. Pheara's attack strikes true, damaging the snake further, while Saprys isn't so lucky, his sword failing to break through the snake's scales.
Giant Snake 1 Damage: 0
Giant Snake 2 Damage: 4
Yuan-ti Warlock Damage: 17 [DEAD?]
[Just waiting for Ledmo before moving onto the snakes' turn.]
Will joins Manon in a kneeling position on the ground. He's going to let Manon handle this, since he hasn't been around as long as she has and doesn't have the full story.

He saw the spell weaver's lightning fail, and that was a brief moment of satisfaction for Led. But he seemed to have captured the warlock's attention, who then growled a word and pointed in his direction. With but a moment to react, Led hunkered behind his shield, bracing a sturdy leg behind him. He felt the impact of some mystical force batter against the iron banded wood, but the shield held, and he did not falter.
"Maker gimme strength..." Led muttered under his breath from where he stood before the infirmary. He glanced over his shield, just in time to see the magic user felled by an arrow shot from the Golden Boy, as he had come to call the elf. A grim smile formed an he nodded toward the elf. "True as e'er!" He called to Strorat. "Well shot!"
Now there came a desperate time, when holding the line meant to strike the enemy down or push them back beyond it. Led glanced about quickly, to see if there were any immediate threats to his position, or to the infirmary. Seeing none at the moment, he took stake of the camp yard before him. All the Yuan Ti in the area were down, or so it seemed. Tusk was in trouble with a huge snake that seemed to be trying to devour him, but the armored dragonborn was assisting him. A second snake of similar size was threatening the wildling woman, which she was dealing with on her own. Ledmo grabbed the haft of his battleaxe embedded in the muddy ground beside him and moved into a trotting gait, closing the distance between himself and the snake engaged with the skin shifter. A low growl came from him, as he slammed the flat of the double headed axe blade against his shield, trying to get the beast's attention. "Iffen ya'll not go back t'yer 'ole, den I gotta bite fer ya, ol' belly crawler!" And with that, when he was close enough, he gave a hard overhand chop down into the body of the giant snake with the crescent edge of his axe.

As Manon and Will kneel, the lizardfolk chieftan raises a hand, and everyone stands again. The shaman behind him taps the platform with his staff and speaks in clear common, "You have great bravery to show yourselves before us, Warriors of Light. Your story intrigues the chief and myself. If there has been an error on our part, we wish to make amends with your army. But we are not convinced with mere words. If you truly bear us no ill will, then prove your words with an attack on the other encampment, one that we can only guess is under the control of the Warriors of Darkness. During a raid on our village, they took many eggs for who knows what designs." The shaman pauses here, allowing a moment to mourn the loss of the eggs of the next lizardfolk generation. "We desire these eggs to be returned to us. If you do this, we will be greatly indebted and our tribe will join you in your fight."

The snake takes another blow from Ledmo before falling to the ground, definitely dead. The yuan-ti warlock, on the other hand, vanishes. A small snake slithers away from the spot where its body lay. The remaining giant snake decides to take vengeance for its fallen brethren, lunging at Ledmo.
Giant Snake 1 Damage: 0
Giant Snake 2 Damage: 14 [DEAD]
Yuan-ti Warlock Damage: 17 [Transformed]
Giant Snake 1 against Ledmo: 19 for 6 piercing damage.
Will accepts the mission, but turns to Manon and Feldri with a concern. "I'm happy to help these people, but there's only three of us. Should we go back to camp and get some help before we go attack the Yuan-ti?"

As the snake she was tangling with drops dead at Ledmo's blow Pheara looks up at the Dwarf with feral eyes that show a bestial rage and for a moment Ledmo would get the impression that he had just been sized up as a threat. Her gaze suddenly darts to the other snake as she begins to size up what to do next when suddenly the Yuan-ti who had been escorted by the large snakes transforms into the form of another snake drawing her gaze once more. Puzzled for a moment she suddenly realises that the snake-blood is trying to escape and her decision is made for her. Taking off after the fleeing snake on all fours as fast as she can move behind Tusk who had already left in pursuit of it with his weapon bared in the hopes of catching up to it and restraining the snake-blood.

Phaera's bestial stare brought Ledmo up short, as he pulled his battleaxe free of the now still body of the giant snake. "Wha'?", he questioned her. "Ya'd rather I letcha wrestle wit' it a bit more?" As she bolted off without a word, he called after. "Aye, nex' time I jus' might, eh?!" But she was gone, and Tusk with her. Suddenly, the dragonborn swordsman was near, and calling out a challenge. Led turned just in time to watch his sword cleave into the other snake, but it was already in midstrike, and he found himself it's target. Ledmo tried to drop his shield to block, but the snake was the quicker. He gave a grimace as he felt the sharp teeth of the monstrous snake bite deep and high into his left calf, just above the lip of his heavy boot. He kicked his leg free as he backed a step, feeling the warm wetness of his own blood running down his leg. Gnashing his teeth, Ledmo gave a downward chop with the battleaxe, trying to separate it's head from it's body as it reared back. Whatever the result, he took a step back, gathering his strength and willing away the throbbing pain emanating from his leg.
Movement: Remaining within melee distance of Giant Snake 1
The lizardfolk chief shakes his head as the shaman explains. "Bring this message to your chief. This is a request from our tribe to yours. It would be a great feat if you were to assault a war camp on your own, but it would almost guarantee certain death."

As Saprys' longsword cleaves straight through the remaining giant snake, Tusk forces the Yuan-ti back into its original form. The warlock hisses, dropping a dull green crystal to the ground as it reaches out at Tusk with a hand buzzing with electricity- Only to be cut short as Ledmo buries an axe into his body. The yuan-ti falls to the ground, lifeless.
Panting, you all look around, seeing that the majority of the yuan-ti have been captured, killed, or are running away into the swamp. All that's left to do is tend to the wounded and deal with prisoners.

Led pulled his axe free of the yuan-ti's spine, giving a half smile from under his heavy mustaches to Phaera and a small shrug, as if to say Sorry, wasn't my intention. He then surveyed the encampment. More wounded and dead. If this kept up, in short order there wouldn't be a cot available in the infirmary tent. Glancing toward it, he saw it standing and in good order. His own wounds seemed superficial enough. A scratch on his back, a bite to his leg, these were nothing to trouble the healers over. The fighting seemed to be done, at least for the moment. He slung his shield up over his shoulder.
"Aye, boys." he said in agreement when he overheard Tusk and the dragonborn. "Let's police up any a' the enemy's weapons an' gear, an' report in. Mightn' be they've some more informative thin's on 'em than a gemstone, may'aps sometin' as ta orders er where they be comin' from exac'ly. He cleaned his battleaxe off on the clothing of one of the downed enemies, and then swung it up through the loop of it's hanger at his back. Ledmo would then take a moment to recover the axes he had thrown, and start to inspect the enemy dead.
