Sildar shakes his head. "I don't know about other minions, but that was Klarg. I don't think there are any goblins left except Yeemik, though others may arrive. Perhaps haste is in order," he says.
Up the stairs from area 7, where Klarg and the others lay dead, is area 8 - Klarg's personal cave. Sacks and crates of looted provisions are piled up in the south end of this large cave. To the west, the floor slopes toward a narrow opening that descends into darkness. A larger opening leads north down a set of natural stone steps (into area 7), the roar of falling water echoing from beyond. In the middle of the cavern, the coals of a large fire smolder.
Klarg has a morningstar, hide armor, and shield on him. Nothing else of note.
You investigate the cavern, finding no other goblins or hostile creatures. Looking at the sacks and crates, many of them are marked with the image of a blue lion. Sildar nods when he sees them. "Damn goblins were stealing caravans - that's the mark of the Lionshield Coster. Might be a reward for returning them to their rightful owner," he says. "There's a warehouse in Phandelin."
Kai - among all the sacks and crates, you find a small chest. In it, you find 600 cp, 110 sp, two potions of healing, and a jade statuette of a frog with tiny golden orbs for eyes (40 gp). The frog statuette is small enough to fit in a pocket or pouch.
((You may distribute the party treasure however you wish. Also, you all level up!! It appears Wagner has disappeared, so - do you want me to search for a replacement? Or do you want to continue with the party as is? Either is fine with me, so let me know. Where would the party like to head now?))
"I'd say our next move is to get Sildar back to Phandelin. And while we're headed that way, we may as well make some extra money." Mulligan then begins to pick up one of the Lionshield Coster crates, and take it out to the wagon.
"I suppose the other thing we could do is head straight to Cragmaw Castle. If we're going to do that, we should see what Yeemik can tell us about it first."
((Would Klarg have anything on his person that Mulligan could use to show Yeemak that he's dead? Even if it's just a huge tusk or something like that.))
((You could try showing Klarg's weapons or a piece of his pelt to Yeemik))
Sildar, still leaning heavily on the javelin, grunts. "I need to go to Phandelin, which is about 15 miles from here, I think. I can pay you for your escort once we get there. As for the castle, I don't know where it's at, but it's likely filled with many more goblins. A much larger party would be necessary, I would think. And once in Phandelin I can speak with my contacts and find others to help rescue Gundren."
It takes a couple of trips, but you manage to take the stolen goods from Klarg's cave to your wagon. Sildar hobbles to the wagon and hops into the bed, voicing his intentions to sleep during the journey so he can heal.
Ajax pats Odo on the shoulder: he is precise and also funny
reply ing to Sildar: “was this the famous Klarg or just another of his minions?”
Mulligan will pick up the javelin that was thrown at him.
Sildar shakes his head. "I don't know about other minions, but that was Klarg. I don't think there are any goblins left except Yeemik, though others may arrive. Perhaps haste is in order," he says.

Odo gives the dead bugbear a solid kick to the ribs as he walks by. "Stupid bigbear, shoulda stuck to roots and honey..."
He walks into the bugbears living area and begins to snoop around, hopefully finding something tasty to eat.
Investigation 16
((he's REAL bad at investigation for the record...))
Kyanite will investigate the bugbear and then move onto the room itself.
Bugbear 19

"ALWAYS GIVE A MONSTER AN EVEN BREAK!"
1st Edition DMG
Ajax goes to peer at the west exit
Mulligan will also wander into the personal cave, keeping an eye out for any stray goblins.
((Sorry for the delay, guys))

HP boost: 3
"I'd say our next move is to get Sildar back to Phandelin. And while we're headed that way, we may as well make some extra money." Mulligan then begins to pick up one of the Lionshield Coster crates, and take it out to the wagon.
Ajax jumps in
”wait a minute, what about Gundren? We cannot leave him to whatever faith!”
ooc: we killed Yeemik or just tied up?
we are 4 characters , it should be fine, up to you
((You left Yeemik tied up - he hasn’t escaped yet. 4 PC’s works for me.))
Ajax asks Sildar
”my first concern would be liberating Gundren at this castle but it dipenda: how far is Phandelin? How far is the castle?”
((You could try showing Klarg's weapons or a piece of his pelt to Yeemik))
Sildar, still leaning heavily on the javelin, grunts. "I need to go to Phandelin, which is about 15 miles from here, I think. I can pay you for your escort once we get there. ((on vacation))
((4 works for me.))
Ajax, reclutantly
”fine then, so be it, Phandelin makes sense. What shall we make of Yeemik? We can free him and follow him or kill him in the spot?”
Mulligan will grab Klarg's weapon on our way out. "Let's go talk to Yeemak. Maybe he knows something."
It takes a couple of trips, but you manage to take the stolen goods from Klarg's cave to your wagon. Sildar hobbles to the wagon and hops into the bed, voicing his intentions to sleep during the journey so he can heal.
Is anyone going with Mulligan to talk to Yeemik?
Ajax does
