With a sigh, Glim says, "Yes, alright," pulling Minerva out of his pocket and setting her on the ground, waving a hand toward her in a backhand sweeping motion as if shooing her. Turning to Kelvin he adds, "Before you send Lucy off, may I see her for a second?"
Assuming he offers her, Glim touches her feathers and says a little prayer to Ioun. (casting guidance)
"We may as well look ourselves too." He shuffles off in the opposite direction from Minerva to check the nearby area closer to the ground.

Fionula
"Oh, hey, yeah," she rummages around in her shoulder-slung sack and pulls out a piece of parchment. "Here! This is what I drew when I was, uh, checking up on Gargosh back at the tavern. I'm pretty proud of it." She hands the map to someone, and then starts looking about.

Kelvin shrugs and give Lucy a wave. Sitting down in a comfy spot, his eyes turn milky-white and his ears disassociate and ring with newfound clarity. Lucy takes to the sky to strafe overhead for any clues.

"You found what? Owlbears? Three of them? Oh, please tell me it's a family with a baby 'bear, like in the storybook! Swifty! Go now, I need to see this for myself!"
She will direct Swifty to go there, too, as we make our way towards the area depicted by the map.

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
Fil nods as he begins to walk toward the owlbears slowly and cautiously. "They may not be hostile, we should act normal. And if there is a baby, don't take him or her."

I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.
You find a road of broken stone that meanders through hills, stands of trees, and ancient ruins. The road passes under the occasional stone arch as it weaves northward. One such arch stands ahead of you, and perched on a rocky escarpment to the left of the arch is an owlbear. It shrieks at you but doesn’t leave its perch. Peering further, you see 2 more grooming each other
She sits very still on her tasty, tasty horse, and stage whispers so everyone can hear, "I can try to charm two of them, but not the third one. Maybe if one or two of them wander away, the third might follow?"

Kelvin ponders a moment and offers, "Lucy could probably lure them away," but gets a swift response from the owl.

"I could try to blind them, and then we could try to slip past," Glim says. "Although I'd have to get quite a bit closer to do that. Do any of you have anything that could aid in our ability to be inconspicuous?"
"Alternatively, we could just make a run for it. Maybe they'll leave us alone, and if they don't, well... I'm sure we can handle ourselves. They're only owlbears after all."
Fil shrugs. "If Gargosh needs all of his symbols to find the axe, then maybe we can bargain for them, otherwise we can continue the path without disturbing the bugbears."

He draws a glass lizard eye framed in gold filigree and hung from a steel chain. "I can get a look at that whole area and they'll never know the difference!"

The Owlbears seem pretty content and passive. You don't see any indication of a symbol.
