Bulwark, cooling down once again, slowly follows after Dog and Martin, his body creaking distressingly with every step and shift of his bulk. He appeared to take little notice of the shifter's earlier words. (Currently at two points of exhaustion.)
Dog will try the door on the left at the first turnoff (the central-looking room on the map), which seems to maybe be directly above where the mist floated up from? If the door doesn't look hinky, he'll open it, warhammer readied for an attack on a mist or a vampire or I suppose any other threat.
You might be looking at the windows? I just want to make sure there isn't any confusion, since there are 5 windows on the east wall. Only 3 doors are visible. Two doors nearly facing each other and a set of double doors.
Yes I was talking about the first door Dog would come to, from the stairs. Walk up the stairs, turn right and then right down the hall, and then the first door on the left, looking at the central room to the south of the map. The one that looks like it's in the center of the house with maybe no windows.
Bulwark chugs up the stairs after Althus, who is following his divine sense (and his fellow adventurers) feeling somewhat confused by what is going on. Martin, walking through the corridors detects an overwhelming smell of blood and decay. Indeed, as he looks down a long passage to the west, Dog opens a room that is filled with death. Three relatively fresh corpses lie on the floor, blood splattered and pooled about them. The cause of their deaths is evident: Garielle.
Althus walks over to Dog, covering his nose. As he sees the corpses, he gasps in disbelief and shock, "Oh no! Who could have done this? Garielle is in danger, we have to go help her!"
He'll continue racing off after Garielle, using his Divine Sense again if necessary.
Dog opens the door across the hall to reveal another room filled with death. This one is extremely rank. So much so that Martin can smell it across the house. Everyone can smell it. Two bodies are so old they are mostly skeletons now. Another is...well, fresher would be the wrong word. Flies, maggots, and cockroaches are the only living things in here.
Martin opens a door south of Dog. He has much better luck. Though the scent of Dog's two doors are overpowering, he can tell that this room smells of potpourri and perfume. It is positively filled with clothing, mostly dresses and shoes. It is the largest closet he has ever seen. There are so many rows of clothing that the room has dedicated hallways through the racks and racks of dresses, nightgowns, coats, hats, riding clothes, gloves, and more. Though not a fashion expert, Martin can tell that some of the styles are clearly out of date while others are quite recent.
Althus:
A strong smell of undeath emanates from behind the double doors to the west, past Dog.
(Tock and Gash have been running for about a minute. The tavern Gash is heading for is a good 15 minute walk from the house, so there is plenty of time still...)
Dog after two rooms of awfulness retches a bit and doesn't even try to look in the room. He plunges forward to the doors ahead of him, basically ready to bash down the door to get away from the charnelhouse.
Martin doesn't find another door immediately in this hallway but there are two right around the corner. The eastern door opens into a lavish bath room, lit by candles and perfumed with fancy soaps and oils.

Which one? The southern door?
Yes the southern one on the left...

Got it!

Once we get to it, Tock will take another shot at Gash, following the same plan.
Attack: 22 Damage: 9
Tock's shot again goes wide, flitting through some bushes behind the goblin as he runs through the dark streets.
If he sees no mist or odd coffin-ish containers, Dog will try the door opposite this one. "Lots of fresh bodies in here!" he will call out.
Martin’s going to open the door just down the hall from him

"Tock stop! This is for Garielle!" Gash continues to run

Martin calls out to the others “Clothes closet!” He closes the door and continues to the next door at the end of the hall.

Dog finds the solid oak double-doors locked.
