Vhon raises a hand and whispers something under his breath and a beam of eldritch energy lances toward the purple sailor on the poop deck. (eldritch blast attack: 22, damage: 9 force damage)
OOC: Just so we're all aware, I forgot to change crossbow to dagger in my last post.
The force from Vhon's spell almost knocks the Purple Sailor over the side but he manages to stand his ground just. Meanwhile the Captain swings his long sword with all his might (Attack: 8 Damage: 8) at the Giant Lizardman but still spooked by Hallard misses badly.
Thrash you're up next followed by Zin, Tiro and Hallard.
"Protect big lizard!" Thrash would shout before turning to face the new challenger as his attack glances harmlessly off of his armor. "nakta slathalinir isthasy! yth geou tepoha wer ship soon aurthon!" He would exclaim in draconic while glancing to the unexpected ally. He would then turn his head to focus on the orcish enemy, letting out a deep hiss and baring his sharp teeth before slashing wildly with his flail as it whistles through the air.
Attack: 6 Damage: 8
As his attack misses, his eyes would widen and he would stomp his foo before swinging once more with a vicious return swing...
(OOC: Action surge)
Attack: 10 Damage: 7
Keep fighting brother! We will have the ship soon enough!"
Zin finally learns to to take into account the wind coming over the stern of the ship and looses a bolt which spears deep into the Captain's chest who collapses with a gurgle as blood froths around his lips.
Tiro continues to concentrate on the purple sailor and brings down his sacred flame upon his head causing him to take 5 hit points of radiant damage, unless he dodges.

Hallard is unable to switch the tentacle in time but manages to reorient the Eldritch Blast towards the Sailor with the hook. The Giant Lizardman then goes into some sort of frenzy and starts slashing with its claws at all the sailors (2) standing within 10 feet of it (First Sailor = Attack: 9 Damage: 11 - Second Sailor (Hook) = Attack: 9 Damage: 15). He misses the first who just manages to dodge out of the way but gets a solid hit in on the second (DC 13 = 18) who despite the deep slash across his belly exposing just a hint of entrail managed to maintain his footing.
Meanwhile up on the Poop Deck the Purple sailor starts to once again move his hands in a familiar fashion and a green bolt flashes towards the Giant Lizardman (Attack: 24 Damage: 14) but the GIant Lizardman obviously protected by some supernatural force just manages to dodge in time.

Too bad the captain's name isn't Horace. Then we could say, "You're beating a dead Horace."

If he can develop a sea shanty about the battle I’ll give it serious consideration.

OOC: I missed that part. His attack will then move to the next closest target (If there is one within 30ft of the tentacle).
Hallard watches with satisfaction as the captain goes down, "Thanks for the help!" he calls out to Zin.
