Can we fit 2 abreast? If so Kierro & Torwen side by side. If single file I'll let Kierro go first to try to pacify the wolves with rations......we will be 'meat shields' for Victor & Faywin. Torwen will say: "What do we need to do with Krub? If he goes with us we need to keep him safe...maybe in the back? What do y'all think?"
Torwen stealth: 20
OOC: Wow Torwen is a ghost in chain mail with a Nat 20!
((It is only wide enough to fit 2 abreast if one of the 2 walks in the stream; otherwise, you'll need to go single file along the ledge on the right))
Kierro, you go in first, throwing some rations into the cavern with the wolves. They fall on the food immediately, snarling and barking at each other to get to it. Their chains rattle loudly, echoing off the walls of the cave.
Torwen, you march in behind Kierro, the noise of the wolves and the babbling of the stream covering your progress.
The others follow you in. The tunnel Krub indicated is off to the left, running about 25 ft before it branches off in two directions.
"It might be better to deal with them afterwards. So far all the noise they are making does not seem to be drawing any attention, but what is that noise suddenly stops. I say we move on." Victor comments.
Kierro nods and leads the group up the path, towards the split in the tunnel. He cautiously looks around for any traps or guards before peering down each of the tunnels.
Kierro -there is a bit of smoky haze hanging up near the ceiling, and the wind traveling through the tunnel wafts a faint scent towards you. It smells like smoke and the pungent scent of what you assume are smelly goblins.
From behind, Krub whispers, "No traps. Just Yeemik and tall man. And more like me." He gestures ahead to the left branch of the tunnel. "That way."
As you round the bend, the tunnel opens up into a large cavern. This large cave is divided in half by a ten-foot-high escarpment. A steep natural staircase leads from the lower portion to the upper ledge. The air is hazy with the smoke of a cooking fire.
The party is at the red X, turning left into the cavern (blue arrow).
In the lower part of the cavern are 5 goblins huddled around the cooking fire. They look up in surprise as the party enters the cavern. Standing up on the ledge is a larger goblin, currently yelling at a human man lying on the ground.
"That Yeemik!" Krub hisses, pointing to the larger goblin. "Get him!"
If Kierro wants to try to pacify the wolves with rations Torwen will follow him.
That will leave the ones with the best armor up front and Victor and Faywin will be shielded some what as we enter the cave.
Sound like a plan?
[OOC: sounds like a plan]
I need marching order - don't forget Krub.
And then I need stealth checks - unless you're not trying to be stealthy?

[OOC: I would assume Kierro, Torwen, Krub (by himself if double space), then myself and then Faywin. That work?]
sounds good to me if we can go in double.
Marching order sounds good.
Stealth check: 4
OOC: Heck.
Kierro will toss the meat into the wolf den, then attempt to walk past without seeming like a threat to the wolves.

Party is at the red X.
How many wolves in the 'den' and are the wolves the only creatures in there?
There are 3 wolves and they are all chained to stalagmites on the floor. They are the only creatures in that cavern.
Torwen asks the party "Do we want to let the wolves be and take the other passage?"
"It might be better to deal with them afterwards. So far all the noise they are making does not seem to be drawing any attention, but what is that noise suddenly stops. I say we move on." Victor comments.
Krub motions for you all to keep moving. "Yeemik up left," he hisses in a whisper. "Leave wolves, they chained," he says.
Kierro nods and leads the group up the path, towards the split in the tunnel. He cautiously looks around for any traps or guards before peering down each of the tunnels.
Perception: 19
Torwen follows close behind.
Faywin is advancing with the party covering the rear.

Torwen says: "To the left then"
