Badger stands just outside (to the north of) the door to 6D.
As he inspects the cube, he is surprised to see how similar it is to the other. Not wanting to get them mixed up, he places this second cube on the floor beside the door rather than in the bag with the other. There must be some way to determine which is the correct cube, he mutters. "Secrets hide the truth". What truth? Perhaps there is another secret that reveals which of these cubes is the correct one. Secrets within secrets? Or perhaps the rooms are NOT the secret. Perhaps there is another which points to the ... the archers? Badger looks again at the archers surrounding them, pointing toward the cube at the center. Is it that easy?
Now that Grenk and Sickle have cleaned some muck from the mural, Badger goes to take a closer look. Investigation: 8

Pfff, no, pin cushioned, what makes you think that? That statues don't even have arrows. Wait...what's that appearing in their bows.....
As the mystical hand pulls the cube from from the broken head statue room, and the cube floats just beyond the threshold and into the main room, there is a flurry of activity. The statues all animate and wooden arrows appear in their animated stone bows. There's the crackling crunching sound of movement as they bows are drawn back and aimed about the room.....and are about to be released.
Everyone roll initiative.
The statues go at 20. If you go before them, feel free to take your action.
Grenk is in 6D, and has cover from the first round of sudden, though not entirely surprising, attacks. Re-reading Mal's posts, sounds like she would still be in the main room. Silas, you're just at the threshold to the room as well, so not all statues can fire at you. Otherwise Badger, Sickle and Mal are fully exposed to the archers.

Mal Initiative: 20
Mal will yell out a warning as she sees the statues starting to animate and then she will grab the closest person to her and pull them with her behind some cover.
Hearing the ruckus he stood up, drew out his bow and again invoked the blood magic. Taking step out into the doorway he fired off two shots before ducking back into the door frame.
Move: 15 ft to stand from studying the mosaic, go to door frame shoot and then duck back around doorframe for cover.
Bonus action: rite of radiance, plus 1d6 radiant damage to attacks, takes 1 damage to self
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Luck of the draw to see who Mal pulls with her: 1-2 Badger, 3-4 Silas, 5-6 Sickle... 3
(OOC: Rite of radiance, if I read it right, doesn't make the piercing damage magical, just the radiant magic, yes?)
Mal drags Badger with her into the room with the whole statue so they take cover. Grenk steps out, mystical energy coating his arrows. The arrows bounce harmlessly off of a statue that it strikes, but the glowing energy on the arrows seems to make chunks of the statue explode away.
Unfortunately that leaves Silas and Sickle to feel the wrath of the archer statues who unleash a volley of arrows at them.
Silas, I believe you take 31 damage from arrows, and are still conscious, with 1 hp. Your pin-cushion comments has come to fruition. Perhaps Badger's future-sight abilities are rubbing off on you.
Sickle, you take 16 damage and have a bunch of hp's still.
Ok, everyone take your next actions.

Sickle's shield comes up too late. While it does stop a couple of arrows, two find their marks in his rib and shoulder, and two more scrape his cheek and leg. He grunts, spinning around the nearest statue to the hall to begin moving out, placing himself between Silas and the archers, trying to impede any remaining aim they may have. He raises his staff, and again water pours out and surges up into a Tidal Wave, crashing down upon the statues (and hopefully throwing them to the ground).
DC 15 DEX Save or 28 bludgeoning damage and prone, or half as much on success and not prone.
(If this is going to get any of the party members I would like to repost, but if I understand everyone's positions correctly it should be ok).
As Badger gets yanked to safety, arrows flying and bouncing from the walls, and the main room floods with a sudden torrent of water, Badger starts to think that he's seen enough of this shrine and perhaps it's time to depart. Let's hope we have the true cube, he mutters before casting a spell of Invisibility on Mal. I hope that helps... I'm going to take the back way. He then moves over to the arrow slits, ready to cast Misty Step next round and teleport into the corridor.

Sickle is the first to move after the archers, his shield raised as he moves backwards, retreating down the alley, with Silas nearby. He's the first to step back into the hall however and as he foot steps on one of the panels, the floor shifts and he finds himself falling backwards. Dex DC 15 save please.

Sickle steps backwards into the passage and the floor falls away. There's a moment of flailing arms and then he disappears from view. Sickle, the fall is short with a violent thud at the end. (5 falling damage). You've also landed in some sort of liquid. It's bright green, slimy, and sticks to your arms and legs. It's only a moment before it begins to bubble and his as it eats away at your belongings, your shield sizzling and smoke as it corrodes. And then the pain strikes as the acidic slime eats away at your flesh. (9 acid damage).
Mal, Silas, Grenk, you turn the corner to see a five foot gap, the floor having fallen away, with Sickle in the bottom amidst a puddle of thick bright green acidic slime. Smoke begins bubbling upwards.
Mal, Silas, Grenk, Badger feel free to change your actions before the archers go.
Silas will still heal of course (10hp is better than 1) and mutter under his breath as he stop short of the hole and trying to reach down if possible to get Sickle out.
