(How long would the next leg of the journey be? Curious how many rations to buy)
(OOC: Greg didn't say, but I'll say that its definitely outside the city, so you might want to refill your supply, so whatever you started with. I believe 10 rations is the normal starting amount. You should still have a hare in your inventory unless you marked in a ration, and with that you could always try hunting again when your out of the city.)
Hati would be interested in the magic shop and start walking towards there.
Haiti goes in search for a magic shop, He finds himself in the nice part of town where all the high end shops and houses are. He finds Splitarrow's Magic Finds, a magic shop.

Edmond, to the group - You guys go ahead. I'll catch up with you guys at breakfast time tomorrow at Stonehill Inn. I'm going to report in at my Temple, and tell them about the Goblins we ran into. While he is at the temple he will stock up on supplies, rations, a crossbow...and any clues they might have regarding his quest from Lady Aemilie, about retrieving the original Scales and Warhammer of Tyr.
Hati gives a growl to the people who would obviously be staring at him, either from him being a tiefling, or his large wings. He hated the fancier parts of towns. Entering Splitarrow's Magic Finds, Hati habitually made sure to tuck his wings in, he then went in and began to browse.
Korhil and Rilvar enter Barthen's Provisions. They see multiple shelves stocked with all sorts of things like; backpacks, bedrolls, rope, rations, and other things. Behind the counter is an older human male.
Elmar Barthen: (to Korhil and Rilvar) "Hello Gentlemen, how can i help you today?"
Gimble, Misty, and Finnian section:
The three follow the guard's directions (and hopefully remember Greg's directions) and find their way to the Stonehill Inn. The inn is roughly the center of city like the guard told them. The building is large and the structure made of stone and wood. The common room/tavern is filled with locals nursing mugs of ale, cider or whatever their drink maybe. As Gimble, Misty and Finnian enter, the patrons take a glance eyeing the three of you with curiosity.

While you walk the streets people do look at you. Tieflings are rare but they are present in Gallia. They aren't treated as one of the hostile races, but plenty of people still treat tieflings with distrust and unkindness. When you growl at people they quickly look away and/or move away from you quickly. The city guard take notice and watch you more intensely.
As you enter the magic shop, you see a Kenku behind the counter.
Aureus Splitarrow: (to Haiti) "Hello, You Buy?" The kenku says with a very joyful upbeat tone.
Edmond section:
Maybe its your good sense of direction, or maybe Tyr was guiding your steps, but you find the temple to Tyr as if you knew were it was. It is not a very grand cathedral, its on the smaller side. The Three major temples in this city look worthy to worship their god. But as a worshiper of Tyr, the finery and ornamentation are not important. After entering you are approached by a dwarf. Jaq Le’quet: (to Edmond) "How can i help you? Have you come for prayer?"
(OOC: sorry i took so long to post this. hopefully i'll do another post/update tonight. reminder saturday and sundays are usually my busy days cause of my inperson d&d games.)

Rilvar will move up to the counter, “Yes sir, we were looking for some travel rations, and I was hoping you’d have a healer’s kit or two available. My friend may want to browse a bit first, so while he does so, do you happen to have any more interesting items available?” With this last question, he will subtly sign in Thieves’ Cant, “Are you a friend?”
Once at the Stone Hill inn, Misty will get a room for herself. She will then spend some time in the common room, trying to see if she can learn anything interesting with regards to rumors or news.
Edmond, bowing low to Jaq Le'Quet - Good Evening Eminent Sir. My companions and I are just in from Umark, having escorted a merchant and his caravan. We were waylaid by Goblins four days from here as oxe pulls. There was evidence at the scene, aye and we have heard word at the gate, that these Goblins have waylaid others. We followed after them, however their trail led to a cave, stoutly guarded. For mine own part a good crossbow, supplies for a 10 day, a hearty meal, and a bed for the night are all I require...here he hands to the holy dwarf 6 gold pieces... and there is... but no, that is a personal matter...
Elmar Barthen: (to Korhil and Rilvar) "Rations? How many you need? As for a Healers Kit we got that. It will be 5 gp for the Healer's kit. If you are adventurers, you might want some clothes, good for traveling and help with the cold. I got some traveler's clothes for 2 gp. If your a hunter, i got a hunting trap for 5 gp. i did manage to get my hands on some potions of healing. Usually you got to go to a magic shop or a church to get these. I got three of them. 50 gold each. Now... if you are a big spender, got quite a bit of coin... i do have this." ... he trails off and gets a box from behind the counter. He opens it up and its a spyglass. "This here is a spyglass, usually used by sailors to help navigate the see. But it could be useful for an adventure, hunter or explorer. Its a bit pricey at a 1,000 gp."
Elmar eyes your thieves cant. Elmar Barthen: (to Korhil and Rilvar) "You feelin' alright?" (OOC: Rilvar give me an insight check)
(OOC: Korhil let me know what you are doing, if anything.)
Gimble, Misty, and Finnian section:
Misty goes up to the man behind the bar.
Toblen Stonehill: (to Misty) "How can i help you?"
Misty asks Toblen for a room (OOC: you may rp/word the asking if you wish.)
Toblen Stonehill: (to Misty) "Things are busy as they usually are, but i do happen to have eleven rooms open. All the good rooms have been taken, but our rooms are better than the other places to stay here in town. It is 1 gp per day for a room. The room comes with food and drink. If you a extra nice drink that you'll have to pay for that separately."
(OOC: Misty give me a perception check.)
(OOC: Gimble and Finnian let me know what you are doing, if anything.)
Haiti section:
While browsing the various magical items on display, you get a feeling when you see Gauntlets of Ogre Power, and you get that feeling again when you see Moon-Touched Sword.
Edmond section:
Jaq Le’quet closes your hand with the gold in it. Jaq Le'quet: (to Edmond) "Tyr does not require your gold. If you want to donate, do it because you believe, and wish to help others. If you seek to bring these goblins to justice we will get you these items you requested. If i'm not mistaken, you are a paladin of tyr are you not?"

Gimble goes up to the man behind the bar. While wiping his eyes and face with a cloth, he asks the man for a room. While getting the key, he will chat the man up.
"So goblins been an issue for this town for awhile? Or is this a recent thing?"
While listening to the response, Gimble will observe the common room. If he sees anyone playing cards or dice, he will go up to the table and attempt to join the game. If there is no one, he will join Misty for a drink.
Noting the two items causing a feeling to stir within him, Hati didn't hesitate to grab them both and bring them to the counter. Placing them down, he stared down the Kenku, not with malice or aggression, just raw intensity, "How much." It wasn't really a question, more like a demand.
"I'm in the market for some rations. About two weeks worth if you have them. I've got these for trade as well, maybe we can knock some off the price." Korhil takes out two hand axes and puts them on the counter for the man to look at.
(OCC: if you bought something make sure to take off the appropriate gold amount)
(OOC: Rilvar you get the feeling he does not understand thieves chant)
Elmar Barthen: (to Rilvar) "So what will it be?"
Elmar looks over the two handaxes Korhil put on the counter.
Elmar Barthen: (to Korhil) "Two weeks of rations will be 7 gold pieces. With the two hand axes for trade, i'll lower the price of the rations down to 3 gold pieces."
