"Yes of course. I'm sure that they have a lot to talk about." Vastra heads off with Yvan, Alys, and Kasha. "You said you wanted some eel, right? I'm certain that a city by the sea should have plenty of places for you to get some fried eel." Vastra departs with Yvan, knowing that Rinn and Stella (or Obsidian) could find them when they want to meet up later.

Her spider senses were correct. Alys would offer Rinn a wave from where she stood. "Ey." Puff. "Rinn!" Stifling a cough, the elf would smile from the distance near Yvan, being sure to blow her smoke away from the giant's path.
Nodding in agreement, Alys would turn on her heels to leave with the 'munchies crew'. She'd offer Vastra her pipe as they went.
"Thank you, Alys." Vastra says as she accepts the pipe and takes a puff, before casting Sending. "Hello, Lord Hartley. Just calling in to let you know that we're alive. Also, do you know any good places to get grilled eel?"
"Try the Golden Pearl. Also, congratulations on your survival, Miss Melloran."
"I hear that the Golden Pearl is a good place to get grilled eel. Let's go there."

Once the group is gone, Stella crosses her arms and glares at Rinn. "What the hell was that? You just up and leave in the middle of the night, leaving a damn note of all things, and now you just pop back? Just with a 'hey'? Like everything's normal and nothing happened?" A burr of sadness underlies the anger in her voice.
Rinn keeps a cavalier grin on his face, hoping it masks the nerves hidden underneath. Standing up to a horde of raging orcs, he doesn't drop a bead of sweat. Facing this wrath, his knees want to buckle. "Please understand, Stella, I was putting you all in danger," Rinn says. "My past was catching up to me and the danger was not only imminent, but real. I could not live with the thought of one of you harmed because of my folly." He shifts his weight, glancing about awkwardly. "I couldn't lose you...even if it meant leaving you," he mutters, barely audible. After a moment or two of awkward silence, he reaches in his pack and pulls out the ugliest plaid, misshapen shawl ever seen on Faerun. "I took up knitting, though....this is for you," he smiles.
Stella's mouth forms into a small "oh" as Rinn offers her the shawl. She takes it, the anger on her face draining away. "Rinn Rua, you are an absolute idiot sometimes," she declares. "We would have helped, just like you guys did with my parents. We're a team, which means you don't need to slip off every time your past comes calling." She sighs. "My parents did this exact same thing when I was a kid. Their past came back to bite them, and they slipped away in the night. It was for a much more selfish reason than you, but...well, it felt the same." She runs her hands through her white hair. "I'm glad you came back, truly. And...thank you for the shawl." She smiles. "But the next time your past comes knocking, let us help, okay?"
Rinn nods. "I promise." He fidgets a minute more before adding, "So...they said something about food?" He offers his arm in escort as he turns to follow the others.

Stella and Rinn, you are easily able to catch up to the rest of the party, as your conversation had taken only about a few seconds, hardly enough time for them to get out of your visual range. "Ah, that was quick. We're headed to the Golden Pearl, I heard that it's a good place to get some grilled eel."
After about 10 minutes of walking, you arrive at the Golden Pearl. It's a lovely restaurant with outdoor seating that grants you an excellent view of the open ocean. Servers walk in and out of the adjacent building, taking orders and bringing out delicious looking plates of food to customers. As the maitre-d rings you up and summons a waiter to seat you all at a table, you can't help but catch an enticing whiff of the food being prepared. You're snapped out of your reverie however, when the waiter presents you with menus and you see the prices. There's not a single drink that costs less than five gold and not a meal that costs less than 10! While you can obviously cover it with your funds (except maybe Rinn), it's more than most of you have ever been charged for eating out in your entire lives.
"Well I suppose that if you want big city food, you better be prepared to pay big city prices."

Kasha squints at the menu. "There's something wrong with my menu, the cost of the food is too high. Must be a typo."she leans over to look at Yvan's menu. She startles, making a strange sound in surprise. "DJHh! Yours too! What are the odds!"she looks at him, completely bamboozled.
Yvan feels very much awkward about entering the fancy restaurant, half expecting them to turn to group away with how they were very under dressed for such an occasion, but money was money, he supposed. Yet he chokes on his spit when he sees the pricing. “I... I just want some grilled eel...” He murmurs. “I’ll... I’ll pay for your meals for the trouble, so please, help yourselves.”

"Try not to extinct another species this meal, ok, big guy?"She says, giving him a serious look. She then uses her elbow to jab his side, and she does a little jiggle to let him know she was just kidding. But then she got suddenly serious again - freezing to point to her eyes with one hand, and pointed at him. She went back to the menu. "Ok, lets see here. Let's..see.."
Yvan: You scan over the menu, searching for grilled eel and see two entrees featuring grilled eel. The first is a simple eel steak served in melted butter with a light squeezing of lemon juice over it and a side of chips. It will cost you 12 gold, drink not included. The second dish is something you've never heard of. It's called Unadon. It's glazed fillets of grilled eel served on top of rice. It will cost you 17 gold, drink not included.
Kasha: You scan the menu and find plenty of options: Salads, fruit salads, seafood, land food, surf and turf, a beverage section that features plenty of fruity drinks, and a dessert menu.

"AH HA!"Kasha says. "I'll take the uh..this!"and she points to a picture of a burrito. "Yes. And this! Whatever this is!"she points to one of the fruity looking alcoholic beverages. "That will be all."she says, with a voice of regality, as if she was indeed royalty, which was very far from the truth. "Wow, they really gotta fix their pricing." she scoffs, smiling. She claps her hands together, rubbing them quickly together. "Boyohboy am I hungry."
Meanwhile, at the docks some lone firbolg man sits on a less used part of the pier, playing a pan flute, watching the sunset, and contemplating... using a newly unlocked magic to contact a long quiet old master...
