Obsidian nibbled some of Kasha's leftovers, then proceeded to flick his tail around his paws and tell Kasha many stories of his travels through alternate dimensions and worlds, from Den-Vurr to Hives to keeps.
Kasha gave Obsidian one hundred percent attention, drinking as he told her stories of places she had never even heard before. The funny thing was, she believed EVERY words he meowed.
"Alright." Although not completely satisfied, Alys will glide them down to a trot back to the ground for their return to the Platinum Star. Before heading back inside, the wizard will toss Hoodini out into the skies.
Vastra returns to the hotel with Alys, feeling unsatisfied as well, but also knowing that when their friends wanted to be alone, they should respect that. She orders up a bottle of wine and when Barnabus finally gets to the hotel, he sees his friends, some of whom are consuming various amounts of alcohol.

You all finish your day in Merisia with a wonderful night at the Platinum Star. The next morning, you wake up and get back to Cerellia to meet up with Dio and collect the items you ordered. After a few days of travel, you return to the city and enter the store, where you hear the crackling of lightning and a loud cry of "SON OF A *****!" before Dio comes up to the counter with his hair standing up on end and his skin slightly singed. "Oh hello. I have your wand and the Bag of Infinite Chocolate Covered Peanuts ready in the back. Let me go get them for you." He says, as if everything was completely normal.

Though his clothing at least was more ruffled up than when last seen, Barney had returned to the Inn seeming content about something, if nothing else. He would say nothing of any venture, but did chuckle at the state of some others. But true to form, the shapeshifter at least attempted to make sure others made to their rooms, prior to heading to bed himself.
Days later...
"Sounds great, Mr. Dio. And thanks again! I hope it ain't cut in to too much of yer time for other projects!"A chipper Barnabus replied, wholly unbothered by the man's state. "Though that said, you wouldn't happen to have acquired any other curious trinkets while we were away? Things other mercenaries or merchants might've passed along to ya?"

You can actually hear Kasha's pupils dilate as she screams "GIMME!"at seeing the Bag Of Infinite Chocolate Covered Peanuts, grabbing it off the table and immediately sitting down in the shop indian style to begin eating them tenderly and patiently.
Kasha feels Dio staring at her, so she stares at him back innocently for a long awkward moment before slowly turning around that her back is to him. She continues eating sitting cross legged on the floor.
"A custom order, eh?"Barnabus says with a twinkle in his eyes. As he did, he says mentally through a psionic link to Kasha 'I believe he's waiting on ya to pay fer that dere bag.... In gold, by the way, unless yer gonna try 'nd bribe'm by sharing some'. Without breaking his verbal stride, the half-orc adds, "Well, I or one of us did mention offering to do ya a solid in the future, if'n ya might need it. So, what can we do fer ya brother man?"He asked curiously while a idle hands went to work separating and putting forth the coin for the wand.

"As you know, I am a creator of magical weapons. I have been attempting to create an enchantment that would permanently electrify a weapon, with little success. However, I believe that I might have figured out a component that might make it work, but I need you to retrieve it for me." Dio pulls out a flat, circular gem that's palm-sized. "This gem is enchanted to capture a Lightning Elemental. I can give you an invention of mine to help you Plane Shift to the Elemental Plane of Air and then back once you've finished the mission. You will simply need to capture one of the Lightning Elementals. It will be significantly easier if you incapacitate it first."

"Can ya even incapacitate somethin' made of lightning? Hm... Either way, this is gonna be a tricky one, to say the least. But, I think we can manage it somehow." Barnabus said in a more subdued tone. "Couple things tho'... Okay, a few things."He quickly changed with a chuckle. "First one off, I s'pose this device of yours will plop us somewhere safe there, or should we expect to do some freefalling and figuring out mobility as soon as we get there? Secondly, mind if we take a few days? Just to hit the books and learn what we can 'bout the plane and what not, that is. And thirdly, and this is perhaps the most important part, but.... ya wouldn't happen to have a spare crystal vial worth about, uhh... 400 gold on hand at least, would'ja? A maybe a few pickled creature parts ya ain't figure what to do with yet?"

"Incapacitating a Lightning Elemental is no different than incapacitating any other. Just make sure not to incapacitate it so much that it ceases to be. The device is tuned in to a safe spot on the plane and yes, you can take time to research the plane. And do you have the money for these goods?"

The shapeshifter gave Dio a dubious look, only to shrug it off moments later. "Huh? Ya mean the crystal vial and stuff? Yah! That last job of ours left us plenty flush." Barnabus adds as he puts forth the extra coin in a heavy pouch. "I've been having some weird dreams lately, and figured I'd follow'em to wherever they goin' take me, ya know. But that'd be it fer me... Come to think of it, I think I do know a bit 'bout the place we're headed. Huh... anyhow, should have the good word for ya within an hour or so about the job."
(@SF: So, I double checked, and that'd be 300gp for the vial and 150 for the wand. If I'm off though, let me know.)

(OOC: You're not off. Also, since ixi and ETG have been very busy, I'll be handling piloting duties for a bit)
Dio gives you your supplies, as well as an hour to debate amongst yourselves whether to accept the job. A majority is agreed upon and you return to Dio, ready to head to the Plane of Air. He hands Vastra two tuning forks and a small rod. "This pair of tuning forks are attuned to the Elemental Plane of Air and the Material Plane, so that you may travel there to do the job and then return when ready. They only work once a day, so don't use them unless it's necessary. Also, as a reward for completing this task, I can offer a few magical items, as well as some knowledge that might be helpful with a certain endeavor of yours, but that will have to wait for the successful completion of your task." You all link up in a circle and Vastra taps the fork. Suddenly, you all feel a vibration going through you, as the mystical energies reverberate. You feel yourselves being pulled away from Dio's store, as well as the Material Plane itself as you pass through the cosmos at an incredible speed, stopping on a piece of earth.
You look down over the edge, or at least the direction that your brains have been programmed to perceive as down, to see infinite sky. The same sight greets you up above, as well as in the other directions, something that your minds are unprepared for, despite having knowledge of the plane. You are able to take some solace in the existence of other floating islands that you might be able to use to orient yourselves while on this plane. On this particular island, you see that the ground has been paved into a white brick road with pillars on either side. Not too far from here you see a city, as well as a magnificent castle off in the distance, its tower standing prominently in the infinite sky.
As you take this all in, about a dozen knights in armor made of beautiful silver scales riding on winged horses swoop in and surround you, with their spears pointed at you, lightning cracking from the tip. "Foreigners from the Material Plane, who are you and what brings you to the realm of King Auruos?"

"Hoooo MAN!"Kasha yells. "This place is AWESOME!!"She walks up to one of the guards and holds up her bag. "Hi! I'm Kasha! Peanut?" she then has a sly grin on her mischievous face. "They're chocolate.." she bobs her eyebrows for a few seconds.
"No, no thanks." The guard says awkwardly. "I have terrible peanut allergies, please keep that away from me." It's hard to tell, because the guard is wearing a winged helmet that covers up most of their face, but you're reasonably confident that they're staring into the camera like they're in The Office.
