Barnabus rolls his eyes at Kasha's statement, but then chuckled good-naturedly. "You say that now, but it never hurts having something extra to protect your magical friends, ya know? So give it at least some thinking." He suggests, before then turning back on Dio. "It'd be research on my behalf regarding dragon scale armor. If you could find someone or thing that could even make it a bit transmutable on the fly for those of us with the power to alter our form, all the better."He requests.
"Also, and this isn't, a, uh... some attempt at extended reward, but just me being curious... you wouldn't happen to have a book on raising dragons on hand, would'ja? Or on say a silver one's, uh, hatching process? I'll pay for it, if need be."

Alys would chuckle from Kasha's squeeze, feeling a piece of her inner sadness vanish for the time being. She'll pat the ground beside her to Yvan after the druid points his way. Almost instinctively, the elf would start petting and playing with Kasha's hair when she lays her head down. She'll reach down and push Obsidian's tail away from Kasha's mouth, "Don't eat Obsidian..." and she'd offer a hand full of peanuts for her to eat instead.
The cleric will look up to Dio, eyeing up the length of the blade in his hands. Could I even successfully wield a sword of that length? Should I move into the forefront to protect my friends instead? Where do I fit amongst these talented fighters? Alys would pan around the room looking to everyone one by one before looking back to Dio, watching the exchange between him, Yvan and B. Barnabus always thought ahead with this kind of stuff, but instead of being up close to learn from him this time, she'll remain where she was to observe from afar. At the mention of the dragon, she'd put a hand on the bag of holding that held the egg to make sure it was still there.
"I can certainly do the research and get back to you in a few weeks. As for the dragon raising, there aren't any books on that, as there aren't too many instances of non-dragons raising dragons, and none of those people have written about the process. That's an extremely specific request, you wouldn't happen to be asking it because you have a silver dragon on you, would you?"

Stella tilts her head. "Could you electrify my rapier?" She frowns at Dio's question, electing to let Barney answer it since he seems to handling...that part of the conversation.
"Wwwweeelllll, I wouldn't say that /I/ have one, mind you. As it was fairly pointed out, if'n I recall correctly, how that particular subject was to be treated." Barnabus admits with his voice dipping into the cold and double toned one of Bix. "But, in more or less answer of your question, upon the group's person is a dragon egg, which may or may not have some Plane of Air influences also tied to it, in case that matters."
He frowns and scratches the back of his head. "But that's a shame. Guess they could try looking into Silver Dragons as a species, and just wing it from there. And then, I s'pose I aughta pen the process, 'nd hope we don't have an adult one breathe'n down our neck if/when it sells... no pressure." He chuckled, only almost to immediately let out a defeated sigh moments later.
"Firstly, from what I know, some Silver Dragons call the Plane of Air their home." Dio whispers. "And I imagine that from your possession of the egg means that the dragon is either no longer alive or it gave you the egg. Either way, you have little need to worry about it, dragons don't worry about their children after they hatched. As for silvers, they're benevolent, as all metallic dragons are, and use the element of ice."

"Why would I-...?" Barnabus trails off there giving Kasha the most incredulous look. Then he seemed to remember he was talking to Kasha, and just brushed things off in a mildly exasperated shake of his head and an 'oh you' look. "I'll be sure to tell the next metallic one we see that then that. And if they as tied to the cold as they is, you wouldn't happen to have a good size cooling magic item on hand we can buy off ya? Also, if you have time in the future...mind teach'n me, uh... well, you know a thing or two 'bout artificing, right? At least that's what I think it's called. And if so, mind teach'n me a thing or too whenever you're free?" He whispered back.

Alys would listen to B’s babbling with Dio stroking Kasha’s hair. She’ll lean forward to whisper a response to her about B mentioning selling the dragon egg, “Wait, we’re not raising it?” The scholar didn’t actually think about selling the egg. Her whole intent and hoped were to attempt raising it... not that she knew anything about raising a dragon...
The elf will wait for the others to finish their exchange with Dio before piping up, “I’ll accept the offer to wield your blade Dio. I hope I’ll do it justice...”
Yvan shakes his head when Barney apologizes, giving the bard a weak grin. "It's okay," He looks to Stella briefly, then to Dio. "I'm not sure what you could do with my javelins... maybe electrify them along with Stella's rapier?
