Now hit'em where it hurts!" for further encouragement, he still his mind for what's to come. Without word or motion, a bolt of twisted energy comes flying out of the dark for Zabuza!

"YEEOUCH!" Kasha growls.

"Oof! He's really got it out for ya, Stella! But it ain't no thing, but a chicken wing! 'cause ya've been through a lot worse. Now show that coward what it means to have real courage!" Barnabus calls out to her, hoping to have filled her with DETERMINATION. Then as if to show further support, the half-Orc young'un actually willing stepped up closer to the fray. For all of his earlier bravado, it gradually gives way to seeming awe and fear the closer he came to Erazon.

But, something strange happened as well....

Mirai is filled with a sense of unrelenting dread A feeling perhaps never felt before in life or unlife, only inflicted upon her many victims. Erazon... was losing. She could see it. Could she it? No, this was madness! But, the feeling... it was hard to shake. What if he did fall? The pact they made! It would be all for naught! Several of them had already fallen due to his arrogance!

But what if he succeeded? No... no, even in success, the future -- everything felt bleak. It was hard to focus. Too much... She needed... if she could but focus for a moment. Her magic! So long as it stayed true to her at least. No... Nono! That too -- Her connection too began to feel faint and distant. As it did, the dread only grew in intensity...

Movement: Within 30ft of Mirai(if possible).

Action: 'Subtle'(1SP) Cast Attempt to use Mizzium Apparatus to cast a (4th level spell)[Tooltip Not Found].... Arcana(DC 18):31... and succeeds!

Mirai must make a Intelligence Save(DC 14), or become impared in the following ways while Barney retains concentration:

Yvan roars out in anger when he sees Furlong fall limp to the ground, and despite Alys helping him back up to his feet, the half-giant is still raging and takes it all out of Erazon!
