"I'm good, healing wise," Stella tells Barney with a nod. "Save it for later, I don't think we'll be able to rest much."

"If everyone is healthy, then we should go in. The princess still needs saving and I'm sure that Kroll isn't going to wait for us. Although if worse comes to worse and we truly need to rest, we could hide in a broom closet and I'd summon the Villa."

Kasha moans on the floor.

Alys would give a little flex to Yvan, more or less showing off the gauntlets before smiling. “All good Yvan?”

“Going into the closet isn’t as fun as coming out though.” Alys would joke to herself as she offers Kasha a hand to help her off the ground if she wanted. “All good Kasha?”

Kasha looks a little roughed up, and feels like a limp cat as you help her up. It's clear she took a few decent hits.

"I miss my peanuts." she groans. 

"What do you mean, you miss them? You have an infinite supply of them." Vastra says, as she feeds her a potion of healing.

Drift chuckles. "Too True. Tooo True. But they she's probably figuring, my dudette, is probably more on the side of bein' able to just chill and dude that." He strums a few lines on his Cittern and then pats Kasha on the shoulder. "No worries, though. Once we're done here, we can probably do for a break for a week or two, and just take it easy, my dudes. But for now, it's work time." With a final strum, Kasha could feel some of electric burns fade away, revealing fresh flesh beneath it all.

Soothing Beat from the Cittern, restoring 6 to Kasha.

Stella nods. "Then let's get in there, fight Kroll, and save a princess, shall we?"

"Ok then." Vastra casts Mage Armor on herself and opens the double doors to reveal a great hall. The hall is colored dark gray, the same shade as the clouds outside. The windows are open, allowing the wind to rush in, giving the impression that a storm is building in here. In the room are two staircases, one branching out to the left, the other branching out to the right. "I suppose that one of these must lead to wherever the princess is being kept, the other to Kroll."

"Whoa.... Far out, Dudes. Think that General Guy might teach us how he made a place like this too?" Drift asked of noone in particular. "Heh.,.. hehe... What were we... Oh yea. Anyhow, my vote is right. Gotta good feeling about it, you know. But eh, I'm good with either. In hindsight? Probably should've tried reading one of those guards minds to see if they knew something. Dropped the ball hard there."

"Next time we run into some guards, you can read their minds," Stella says to Drift with a smile.

Obsidian gives a loud meow and starts trotting along the lefthand stairs.

"Oh! Before I forget again!" Alys will go around flicking holy water on everyone as they continue forward.

Casting 3rd level Bless on 6 people: Rinn, Stella, Kasha, Yvan, Vastra and Furlong.

Kasha opens her mouth, trying to catch the drops.

You all follow Obsidian up the left staircase. It leads you to a T-shaped corridor filled with smoke. Continuing forward leads to a padlocked door, while going right leads to a staircase that descends into darkness. Curiously enough, despite the presence of smoke in this corridor, you do not detect any fire in the area.

Stella, as you pass through, some of the smoke rises up of its own accord and travels up through your nostrils as you breathe in. As much as you cough and hack in an attempt to clear your airways, you still feel the smoke working its way deeper into your respiratory system.

Everyone roll initiative, as the smoke in the corridor swirls up into the form of demons with dull red eyes, grasping claws, and leathery wings!

At the top of Stella's turn, she will take 7 damage as the smoke solidifies into a claw and attacks her insides. She can repeat the save again to attempt to cough the smoke out.
