Callie snickers at the unexpected turn of events, and readies her bow for the fight to come. "Don't let him get you,"she whispers to Brandor, "bugbears are supposed to hit like a mule kicks..."
Callie's keen ears twitch as they pick up the sound of approaching footsteps, and she readies herself to draw and fire at the first creature, goblin, bugbear, or otherwise, to emerge from the door way.
Attack: 23 Damage: 10
(Hold action: attack the first thing to come through that door, rolling with advantage and sneak attack damage due to stealth)
As you draw your bow and ready it against the door, the first thing that comes charging out is a white wolf whose fur is stained with mixtures of different browns and reds from the ground of this cave. It comes charging out at Grum and you release your arrow, sending it right into the Wolf's stomach and you hear the faintest whimper before it quickly recovers and makes a bite attack towards the half-orc ranger.
Bartholemew quickly prepares the familiar energy in his hand and sends it out streaking towards Ripper, but unfortunately the wolf is *just* too dexterous and it manages to duck under the incoming spell.
It whimpers back, the gnarling fangs fading as the rabid wolf is put down but Squelch's bolt. Immediately after, Klarg comes out. Seeing his wolf on the ground, slain, he charges at Squelch who is still holding his crossbow out.

(After Brandor takes his turn,) Grum will move into the room to attack the middle of the goblins (an unhurt one).
Attack: 7 Damage: 9
If that goblin is still alive, he'll attack it again with his bonus action. If it's dead, he'll attack the one that Callie already injured standing next to it.
Brandor see's his chance and sprints at the Bugbear. In typical fashion he uses his quarter-staff for some verticality and strikes at the taller figure dexterously. His staff comes in high with a sweep at the head quickly followed by a kick that should help him stabilize his fall while also doing some damage.
Brandor takes the opportunity and repeats his round of attacks against Klarg, the figure seething with rage. You crack him over the head with your quarterstaff but his head quickly snaps back, and he catches your kick in his meaty palm, pushing it off of him.
"Klarg will crush you!"
Grum run into the room, pushing back against the goblins inside. Both swords drawn, he swings at one he hadn't seen before and easily decapitates it, however turning to strike at the one that Callie had wounded previously the blade hits a stalagmite and doesn't cut the goblin.
The goblins bare their sharpened fangs, reminding you of the wolves and their equally rabid nature. The one with an arrow still in it's leg slashes at you with his sword, then disengages and runs to the back of the room. The other one attacks at you as well, striking madly at you with it's scimitar.
With the battle joined, Callie takes a step back to get a clear line of fire, then takes careful aim at Klarg. Once she's taken her shot, Callie will reposition herself a little closer to Klarg.
Attack: 23 Damage: 8
(Sneak attack on Klarg because he is next to <Squelch>)
Moving towards the right, you get a clearer shot on Klarg and you send your arrow into his arm, and it sinks deep into his meaty flesh. He pulls it out and turns towards you, yelling in common. "OW! ****. Klarg will crush y-"
Before he can finish his sentence a wave of ungodly fear comes over him and he turns his head back at Squelch, sensing at the very last moment the well of necrotic energy coming forth from Squelch's hand. This tiny bird creature extends his hand and places it on the Bugbear's exposed chest, and as Squelch pulls their hand away you can see the area slowly blacken and expand-- the necrotic energy popping his veins and pushing them against the skin. The blackened area expands, and you see it spread to his arms and up his neck like the tentacles of a kraken, the veins just about ready to burst out at any moment. The bugbear falls with an expression of agony painted on his face-- no more insults or threats, simple pain turned to death.
