So correct me if Im wrong, but order is Ziradius, Garr, Auspex, Karleck and Darrell.
You all head along the trail, Garr tracking the steps and Ziradius at the front ready for action. About 10 minute or so down the trail both Garr and Cayce spot a trap, and you both call out at the same time to warn Ziradius. It looks to be a simple snare trap, and you easily disarm it (no check required, just following it you cut the rope).
About 10 more minutes down the trail Garr and Cayce again notice something off. The ground ahead looks to be hollow, covered with leaves and the local flora. You both call out again to Ziradius at the same time, and you all easily walk around it.
Another 5 minutes down the trail, you come across a large cave in a hillside, maybe five miles away from the scene of the ambush. A shallow stream flows out of the cave mouth which is screened by dense briar thickets. A narrow dry path leads into the cave on the right-hand side of the stream.
(I didn't see it before and it doesn't really matter since Garr would've seen the traps but why did Auspex/Cayce have advantage on the perception roll?)
Giving his companions an evaluative look, "Darrell, you and Gemseer stay a little back and watch our backs, Ziradius, scout ahead or watch the flanks, Garr, you and me, shoulder to shoulder advance, sound good everyone?" He'll start to edge forward slowly, but if the others follow along, he'll pick up a little, keeping an eye out for ambush.
Perception: 23
(I hope this is going to be a recurring pattern for him, but I suspect a bad streak is coming.)
You see two goblins past the dense thickets next to the cave entrance, one sitting on a makeshift chair nearly falling asleep and the other sitting on the ground picking at its teeth with their bowstring. You can spot the area where they have laid wooden planks to flatten out areas of the briars where there is room to lie stealthily. These goblins may have been difficult to spot if they were properly hiding, but they seem to be slacking off in their watch duty. You can see a little into the cave from your position, and you see that it is dark inside and that there is a room to the right in the cave entrance and a main path that veers right. You can just faintly hear the growling of wolves presumably coming from that room on the right.
Karleck will hold up one hand and stop, point out the goblins to the others, gesture as if throwing something at them, hold up his hand with five fingers up, then back to fist, raising fingers one at a time, when he reaches five, he'll cast toll the dead at the one picking his teeth, hoping the others caught onto his intent.
DC 13 Wis save: 3 Necrotic.
(ooc, seemed more fun to do it this way than to just say, signaled to attack on 5, give you all a chance to decide if your characters would pick up on it.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Garr wouldn't really understand the hand motions but would get his crossbow ready, and instead of firing on five he will fire when he notices his allies attack without picking up the signals.

Darrell has known Karleck his whole life and gets the idea. He waits til after Karleck’s spell and says “you’d sleep through your own death,” to the other goblin.
The one on the left is suddenly jolted aware, a distant bell chiming accompanied by the vicious magic carried by Darrell's words converge on the unsuspecting goblin, and it perishes to the various sounds of discordant magic weaved into its mind. The other one springs to action, noticing you now across the way.
You guys are about 60ft away and the goblin is behind thickets but you can both see each other. Please roll initiative!

Auspex will try and put himself in the middle of the group. "Up you go Cayce. Eyes open."
Cacey flies up in the air, scouting a bit ahead as they travel. Perception, 23

"A hideout. Hm. What do you guys want to do?" Garr says to the group
“Can’t leave goblins behind to ambush the next unlucky folks. Let’s go on in.” Darrell says putting away his sword and drawing out his flute

Karleck will glance at everyone, "Probably dark in there, how well do you all see in the dark?"
Garr tries to look into the darkness of the cave, and realizes that he cannot see that well.
"I can't see in the dark. You guys can?"
Karleck will mutter a short prayer, "May the eyes of the goddess guide us."
(Eyes of Night, we all have darkvision with no maximum range for 10 minutes)

(Cayce is a find familiar using the stat block of an owl, which has keen hearing and sight:)
(Ah yes, thought he was just a good ol' bird)
Are you guys pushing along the stream to enter the cave or something else?

Insight, to see if Auspex understood the hand signals. 9
Auspex does not understand the hand signals and is somewhat surprised when everyone starts shooting and blasting.
Ziradius readies his dagger to throw at the slightest movement or threat.
When that does happen, he will throw it at one of the goblins.
Attack: 18 Damage: 5
(first roll was 3 but I forgot to add the bonus to the attack, so rerolled and got natural 20. But I can go with the first one.)
"Insert wise quote here" I hope you learned a lot from that.
