Baeshra reverts his form, "I don't think that's a good idea, they probably won't come up the canyon, they'll come up here, drive us off, then go down and clear the dam."

" So we release the dam and hope the flood waters have enough force to trash the wheel?"

(Has the dam built up enough water to do that?)

( Should have. It had enough water volume to turn a metal water wheel on a very thick axle....shouldn't take long to fill up behind the retaining wall.)

You can see that the water behind the dam has risen about 5 feet.  But, the reservoir upstream is quite large, it's a lot of water that is back there. 

Lyngheid, based on what you remember of the new steel wheel and axle, you aren't sure how much rushing water it could withstand, it might destroy the wheel, it might not.

" We need debris...."

Umbriel, half jokingly, looks at the airship and says out loud to no one in particular, "How attached are you to this ship?"

" Theres a half dozen or more of us....and all the giants walked away....we're gonna lose badly if they come back in force if we can't dish out more damage."

Baeshra shakes his head a moment, "Or we could go back to the other plan and go find another giant's dwelling so we can get their trinket and bring it to the giant gods to get them to call off the war?"

 Deselphine looks at you with blank stare for a second, and then her lips purse into a thin grimace and a little head shake.  "That would be most unwise."

" True.  But I kinda wanna kill this Duke Arsehole.....we've already done a fair bit of damage to his operation. Heading elsewhere would mean starting over..........but I'm ok with it if others are. Nyx?"

Baeshra nods, "But our experiences here seem to prove that the only way we're going to defeat him is if we bring many more allies. Do you have any that you could bring here to help in a hurry?"

" Our ex-prisoners families may want to send some stought dwarves to repay their dishonour."

Baeshra shrugs, "But how long would that take? We should definitely put an end to this duke, but focus on stopping all the giants first and come back later, with more allies?"

 " Fair. As long as he can't make this dragon-killer before we return. Which giants do you suggest?"

Baeshra shrugs, "I know little of giants, but it seems any of them have what we need, so which are the weakest?"
