Your progress is slowed a little by the rain, but you keep to the road, passing the occasional cart, though few others are braving the road in this weather.
The darkness of night is approaching, though the sun is well hidden behind the clouds and the rain has not let up.
Are you camping, or pushing on through the night, or searching for shelter?
You find a place that you think is naturally protected from the worst of the rain, and set about trying to get dry. Unfortunately, though it seemed like it might be a good place, in fact the wind and rain get driven between the trees and the rocky outcrop to create both an intensified wind and a horrible noise. Silent, as soon as Magnum casts his spell, you are instantly dry, and then within three seconds you are drenched again. Nevertheless, you settle in for the night.
Can I please have Perception checks for standing guard through the night? Just from Magnum? Or will Silent help?
The tent does prevent Silent having to make CON saves in the morning, yes. :)
You manage to find some shelter, though not quite warmth, in the night. Nevertheless the night passes without incident and you complete a long rest.
The following morning, the rain is just as torrential as before, the world is dark under the storm clouds and there are flashes of lightning, peals of thunder, every ten seconds or so it seems.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

You make your way towards Alfield. In the afternoon, the rain lessens enough to make the experience of travelling a little less unpleasant, for Silent at least. You are approaching the town just before sunset and find that the town is quiet, with nothing much going on. You see people heading around the town, going home or to an inn or tavern.
Excuse me, a voice comes from behind you as you take in your surroundings. Are you good at killing things? A halfling girl, perhaps ten years old, is standing at the side of the road looking at you both intently.
Silent yells to Magnum over the downpour, Haven't had a proper shower in weeks, I say we keep going!
Magnum nods vigorously.
You push through.

Magnum suggests finding shelter.
Silent agrees and will attempt to scout around for a cave or rocky alcove that might offer some protection against the rain.

I think it's raining.
Silent has been fruitlessly attempting to wring water out of his cloak at regular intervals. You might be onto something there...
Magnum casts Prestidigitation to instantly dry out Silent's clothes.
Whoa - not half bad, Mr. Wizard, not half bad!
(OOC: I imagine we have not yet found cover so the cloak probably starts soaking again after a few moments of toasty warmth :D)

Silent likely has trouble sleeping with the noise so he'll gladly take a watch.
Perception 17
(OOC: Magnum has a tent. Would that help? And I forgot about Auspex.)

What would you like to do?
Magnum suggests continuing on.
Silent agrees. Sooner we're outta this storm the better.

I guess? I mean, we’re good at surviving things, and sometimes we’ve had to kill the other guy. That’s a good question.
Is it? the girl asks? Why?
