sorry about the delay in this, but I forgot to mention that some of Davey's wounds start to close up as he is running away and avoiding Vur's swing of his sword.

Talinian folds his wings and dives on the hapless bard, trying to bear him to the ground. For some reason, he didn’t want to kill him.

”Try to take him alive...and get that instrument away him!” For some reason that seemed the key.

Grapple Attack: 20 Damage: 1

Does the fact that Talinian is swooping from above help in anyway?

Fiume winces from the sword cut. In anger Fiume will try to hit davey in the knee, hopefully making him unable to run away

(OOC- do I roll a unarmed attack or strength for trying to brake daveys leg)

There is no rules for this.  I have looked up homebrew rules for it, and based on what I have found I am going to say that there is no way for you to be able to do so, you may still make your attack roll.

Bones runs forwards 15ft, then yells out "Davey, stop this nonsense! While the mayor wants you dead, we wish to talk as not everything appears as it should in Presdine. Drop your weapons and let us talk now that your oozes are no longer hassling us all!" (Persuasion: 14).

Should there be no other threats, Mialee would dash after the others. Perhaps there was a route she may be able to cut him off at. Otherwise, at least she'd be close by.

Thodin takes a moment to breath as Talinian suddenly dives from the skies. The Dwarf dashes forwards, through the gap in the fence and towards the others.

Davey draws an arrow and points it at Bones.  "You may speak, but if anyone gets too close or I don't like what you say I will let this arrow fly."

Vur comes from behind the statue and Davey looks over his shoulder and says "That's far enough freak!"  the bow still trained on Bones.  He yells out, "And you too guard I hear you."

 I am sorry, I don't know how I missed that, (That being said, one of my other games didn't let me know there were any new post yesterday.)

Are you wanting to be in a MMA like position where you have him mounted or is it more of a shoulder check and your standing over him?

Bones moves closer still, "Well Davey? Shall we talk now?"

"Yes." Davey answers disappointedly 

Talinian nods and, moving a bit awkwardly, gets his staff around and pushes the bagpipes away from Davey, being careful not to put pressure on the part you squeeze.  "It would be a wise precaution that no-one touches that.  It may be cursed," he admonishes.  "Will someone please bind his hands carefully?"

Thodin approaches the rest, heavy crossbow trained on Davey as he nears. Nodding at Talinian’s request, the Dwarf grumbles something as he slings his crossbow on his back while retrieving a length of rope attached to his pack. 

He steps over the bagpipes and kneels besides the downed Davey, tying his hands behind his back.

"Thank you, Thodin," Talinian says as he stands and brushes himself off. Then he asks Bones' aid in searching Davey, removing everything they find except his clothing.

That done, he turns to the two guardsmen saying, "Thank you both for your assistance.  We have it from here.  We will be sure to inform the mayor how helpful  you were."  He pointedly waits for them to leave and be out of earshot before turning back to Davey.

He looks at the bard for a moment, then asks "What is going on here, Davey?  Why did you do this?  And no tricks.  As you have surmised, I am a wizard and will detect any effort on your part to cast a spell, and it is still 5 to one."
