Skulls and Starships

The last zombie falls to your combined assault. The cave continues deeper.

“This is exciting! Let’s keep going.” Toni saunters forth with the swagger of a mother****in’ bard.

"Yes, the threat of death around every corner is most exhilarating." Ashley says. You can't tell if she's being serious or not.

Thrash slowly bends over and looks through the zombie pockets for anything of value before moving to keep up with Toni. "I don't know what that damn zombie did to me, but I don't feel too good."

Ashley looks over Trash to see if she can figure out what is wrong with him. "I knew it was going to be sooner than later that you started feeling sick from eating garbage. Let me see if I can tell what is wrong with you." She says, he eyes turning completely white.

Medicine: 16

Ashley can figure that those void zombies had some kind of agent in their tongues that weakens their prey. It should wear off after a night of rest. 

Toni heads forth into the next cave where she finds several things. The first being a rather large deposit of noqual worth three units of plunder. The second being two dead crewmembers of the Acreon, their bodies ripped open as if something was curious about what humans looked like on the insides. The third is a horrible winged creature, with a head like that of a lamprey eel. It broadcasts a message telepathically. 

Hmm, a new life form. I wonder what your insides look like. It says, with the same curiosity that Ashley would have when talking about someone's insides.

"Stay behind me crew!" Thrash would shout as he races towards the creature. 2

Ashley squinted, looking inside Trash. "You are poisoned. I can see it. It doesn't look potent. Should wear off after a night's rest."

She was about to examine the other bodies when the winged creature spoke. She answered back.

"While enticed by your offer, i'm afraid we cannot allow that. Unless, of course, it was for scientific reasons."

Uninterested in combat, it seems, Ashley walked over to the dead bodies instead.

"Hey! Get off her ya winged shrimp!" Thrash would shout as he recklessly stabs towards the creature. (I assume my rage from the zombies has worn off?) He'd then let his rage fill him once again as his body heat began to rise. This armored jacket would smolder as the creatures skin blisters and sizzles.

Toni slashes at the terrifying creature with her magma blade, searing it’s flesh.

SLASH: Attack: 15 Damage: 8 OF that hits, Toni will expend a BARDIC inspiration for a defensive flourish, doing an ADDITIONAL 1 damage and increasing her AC by the same number.

Ashley thrust her arm out, and like a horrifying necromorph, shot sharp slivers of bone out of her arm like skeletal missiles, hitting the Garaggakal for 10 damage.
