Muharg swings his battle axe at the winter wolf from behind. However, with the wolf turning to face him, his axe misses and instead strikes the snow covered ground. Monty quickly rushes in to cast Inflict Wounds against the winter wolf, but he misses his arm with the spell. Arogna, has better luck, she swings her warhammer at the wolf and strikes the side of the wolf. It falls over, but the winter wolf is not down yet.
With winter wolf's attention now turned to Arogna, it he quickly stands up and moves in to bite her.
(Bite: Attack: 17 Damage: 12) (Arogna make a DC14 Strength check or be knocked prone)
The two dogs still continue to fight ignoring Qinfaren.
Halving damage for rage assuming it's nonmagical piercing, so still up. Otherwise would be out so please correct if applicable. Is this a strength check or a strength save?

Qinfaren's limbs feel like dead logs hanging from his body, but seeing his companions in the middle of a desperate fight with the winter wolf makes him realize he can't take a break yet.
He charges forward, running one hand along the runes on his quarterstaff while focusing on the mistletoe wrapped around it. He can feel natures power race up through his legs, through his arms and into the staff just as he gets to the wolf. He slams the staff down as hard as he can on the midsection of the wolf.
Shad moves forward far enough to keep an eye on the battle. He is glad to have Monty around, especially when he can hopeful distract an enemy. Is Monty a ghost, as Arogna said? An imaginary twin? Ah, such questions! Theology! If only he were in the Cat Lord's temple now.
From Monty's location, Shad casts Toll the Dead on the wolf (DC 12 WIS save or 10 damage).
You take turns attacking the remaining winter wolf, each attack successfully lands a blow on the winter wolf. As Arogna lands the final blow the winter wolf drops to the floor dead.

Arogna opens her mouth to yell with triumph, then realises she might scare off the dogs. She drops her hammer and makes a grab for their harnesses. "Whosa good boys. Yes you are."
She checks the dogs quickly to see the extent of their injuries, then looks around at her blood-spattered and half-frozen companions, with a grin. "Alright, looks like we got ourselves some furs then. Nice job."

Qinfaren takes a deep breath and the lets it out, but the puff of condensed air coming out of his mouth makes him smile. He lets a couple of more puffs of air out and tries to make a ring with the air.
"A nice fire and a snack would suit me quite well right now," Qinfaren says. "I could use a bit of a breather. And the dogs might like a bit to eat too."
Qinfaren looks around for any signs of wood they could use to make a fire.
(Survival: 21 plus would use Produce Flame to ignite it)
"Same for me an'all of us, I reckon," Arogna says. "Let's drag rug boy here inta that cave. There might be more of 'em around."
First, she leads the dogs over to the cave, past the other wolf's body, and ties the traces that she cut earlier back around their harnesses, blowing on her fingers to try to warm them. "I nearly give 'em to your ghost friend to hold onto," she laughs to Shad. "That wouldn'ta done much good."

Shad comes out of the cave and stands in front of Monty. "It's like looking in a mirror. He is a mystery, isn't he?" Shad says to Arogna. "You're right. He couldn't hold the harnesses, but I hope he's a distraction." Shad snaps his fingers and Monty disappears. "Do we want to hide the wolves bodies?"
He hears Qinfaren and says, "A warm fire is always a good idea!." Shad will join in the search for firewood; Survival: 23.
After the second wolf goes down, Muharg takes a deep breath and lets out a long exhale. He then mindlessly scratches one of the dogs behind an ear while staring at the immobile body of the beast. After a few seconds he clicks his tongue and helps Arogna drag the white monstrosity into the cave.
“Yeah, let’s gather our strenght back.” Says as he lets his body slide down one of the cavern walls to sit down.
Arogna also sits and takes her hunting knife from her belt. She cuts some pieces from the hindquarters of one of the wolves, pulling back the wolfskin carefully, and passes them to the dogs. "You earnt this," she tells them. "'S good. Make you strong. You want some, Muharg?" She poises her knife over the wolf again and looks at the dwarf inquiringly, then breaks into a laugh. "Yeah, better cooked, ain't it."
"A rest would be good. If we plan to stay for long, it will be best to get a fire going," Bjorn advises as he looks cautiously about the area, "Don't let your guard down, wolves move in packs and we might not have seen the last of them just yet."
With his eyes still on the surroundings, Bjorn would move to try and recover the arrows he had fired.
