If one could kill by just looking at someone, the duergar would already be but a memory in other peoples minds by the way Muharg is staring at him.
”You are but a selfish piece of [dwarvish word for excrement], tainting the noble craftsmanship of our kin with harmful magic to your neighbours. You deserve no respect, not even if you discovered how to smelt orc shit into mithral, if with that you cause such pain.”
He then turns around and leaves the forge to wait for the others outside.
Arogna snorts at Qinfaren, glares at the duergar, and stalks out after Muharg. "Right. When we get back to the bit of town that isn't burned, let's tell them what that idiot is up to now. And if we meet any more of those mephits on the way, I'll catch one in a bag and throw it in his precious forge." She looks back through the door where Qinfaren is searching for the items, and jerks a thumb back towards him. "How does that one manage to be so bloody nice about everything he meets? Some things are worth hating. Helps you fight 'em."
Shad ignores the duergar's request for help, but does bask in the heat as long as he can. He'll leave the building about the same time as Qinfaren or Bjorn, whoever is last, and will bundle himself up tight against the cold. "Should we sneak or scout our way back? In case there are any mephits left about?"
Qinfaren's words bring a measure of calm to Bjorn. It seems the best way to help the village would be to help Griggle. With a sigh, he assists Qinfaren in looking for the items the duegar asked for.

Griggle doesn't respond to any more questions as he continues to work with the substances and equipment before him. Though you do spot a small coin purse on the corner of a workbench. It probably has enough inside to fully pay you for the postal service that you have provided.

Bjorn examines the substances that are the table near to where Qinfaren is looking. Bjorn quickly identifies the different substances on the table, that Griggle requested.

“I don’t know Arogna, I really don’t” Spits out Muharg while staring at the burning town
”I always try to fix problems by the word if it’s possible, and try not to rush into violence. But this?” Gestures with his hand towards the charred buildings “And showing no regret? This makes my blood boil. That [dwarvish word for rear orifice] is lucky we are acting on behalf of someone else here, otherwise he’d be tasting the flavor of his own blood right now.”
Still holding a proud stance, looking at the distant columns of smoke, a hand resting on the axe hanging from his belt “I guess all we can do now is report him to whoever is in charge of this town, and hope they are a decent individual”
Arogna nods in agreement with Muharg, and folds her arms. "I tell you what, I wouldn't eat with him now if he paid me. We'll have to find a tavern if we want to rest up before going back to the ship. I could use a drink."
Griggle turns to Bjorn upon receiving the substances, "Thank you."
He then picks up all of the substances, including those that Bjorn provided him, and tosses them into the furnace. He then utters a few words that you do not recognise but can only guess that they are mystical words. Suddenly the furnace flares with violet flame and then cools to a tiny white fire.
Griggle then begins to hop around, joyously punching the air.
"Nezznar! Nezznar! You have pulled through for me and it has worked by Auril!"
He then stops jumping around and rushes to the coin purse and holds it out.
"Here five gold pieces for the each of you, this payment for the delivery of this letter. But I need to give you something else. I don't have a lot of gold though... Oh I know what you can have!"
He then turns around and grabs three sold bars of a workbench.
"Here you go! Three bars of adamantine as a personal thanks. I'm no blacksmith, so I cannot do much with the bars that I am making. But maybe you will find some use for them on your journeys. I really cannot thank you enough for what you have done for me. But hopefully this is something."

Arogna seems to have an internal debate about accepting the gold, but stuffs it into her pocket after a few moments. "What's that stuff?" she asks Bjorn. "One of his experiments?"
"He called it adamantine. Said we could get a smith to make something out of it. I don't suppose you have any idea what it is do you Muharg?" Bjorn replies as he looks at the dwarf
Coming from a smithies family and being proficient with smith's tools, do I know anything about Adamantine?
Inteligence check: 2 adding proficiency modifier: 4 (if rolling needed)
If it was just down to your rolls that would be a no. But seeing as you come from a smithy family you know that it can be used to make strong armour and weapons. Though not how strong.
Qinfaren, beyond finding ice really had no idea what they had been looking for and was happy Bjorn had found everything else. Maybe now the experiments would no longer bring mephits to this town.
He rejoins the others and starts heading towards the harbour.
”Hopefully he won’t cause any more harm to the people of this town. Though I hope more that we didn’t just didn’t make it easier for him to cause even more trouble”
Shad will accept his share of the gold. He stands looking at the warmth of the forge and then toward the Icebreaker, where his hammock hangs alone. "The woman who meet the ship," he says, "wasn't she the mayor? She's in charge. But he did one of his experiments and no mephitis appeared." Shad wraps his arms tight around his torso.
"I think so, Shad," says Arogna. "We should find her and tell her, and then she can make up her mind what to do with him. If I was her, I'd at least be sure to run him out of town. Or make him pay for the building. Or both."
You start heading back west, retracing your steps. The sun begins to set in the sky, bringing darkness to the sky. Though being this far north you can't be sure how late it is in the day. On the other hand, it stops snowing.
Eventually, you come out between the different rows of houses and find yourselves back near the docks where you can see the woman standing and talking with Lennart.

A little surprised, Bjorn accepts the gold and bars. With a nod he makes his way outside to the rest of the companions.
"Here. This is the payment for our delivery," Bjorn distributes the coin to the rest. He then also shows them the bars, "He also gave us these."
