“Hawksley’s Immovable Rod could hold the swinging platform still long enough to secure it with the hooks. If Oethe’s Rod makes the ladder and we secure that with the immoveabl Rod then securing a bunch of platforms with the hooks all at once would be easy. Then we just shift down and repeat it. If we wanted to we could even use the ladder to make the final crossing and leave that end unsecured just to make sure nobody but us can use it easily.”
OOC: Is this the sort of thing where I can use some rods to stabilize the first bridge platform from here, or does someone likely me need to vault over to start the process? Also, Hawksley, you need to level up, was comparing athletics and acro stats, if it's a two person job looks like Elyona is close to on par with my athletics, though Hawks is right on par with me if he can sub acrobatics for athletics.
Okay, how do I do that?
One of two ways:
On your character sheet, look up by your character name and you will see a little symbol of a cog that looks kinda like this: ⚙️ Click on that and a sidebar will appear, on there you can click on “manage level.” That will redirect you to the Class tab of your character builder. From there you can either add a level of Fighter (or multiclass into something else).
Instead of “viewing” your character sheet you can instead “edit” it which will take you to the character builder and on the Class tab you can adjust your level.

OOC: That is something I had not considered. To make play easier I pushed the level button for Hawksley.
But I did not consider multiclass. He would lose an ASI and in exchange gain a level in any of the classes the party has.

"............anybody got any potatoes? We could drop a potato in each hole an' see which ones get viciously mauled by horrible monsters?"
OOC: Yeah, just a matter of if Hawksly wants to become a better Fighter, or if he wants to pick up new stuff he could do. 🤷♂️ Player’s preference so to speak. Without feats and only having access to the free content it would be the only way to add a little variety. Of course, variety is less than necessary if one simply wants to be a superb archer. But considering that Hawksley’s Dex is already maxed out and he doesn’t get hit so often as a ranged combatant, aside from boosting Wis for (Perception), the ASI might not be as important to Echelon.

OOC: Hawksley's Dex is maxed because that's what I put in for the level up. I was making a best guess =)
So it would be back to level 7 and add another class that the party has or take the 20 dex.

After crossing your bridge hooks and ladder you come to the landing on the other side of the mud room. The passage turns south and leads about 50 feet in darkness (natural, not magical, everybody with darkvision can see, and your torch lights the way) before turning to the right. The passage is slick with steam, and is in your standard dungeon 10 feet wide, 10 feet high of worked stone. A Dwarf will be able to tell that the stones are fitted in a pattern difficult to break through.

OOC: Alright, I’ll bite. I was holding back on account of I know I words too much and wanted to make an effort to ensure that everyone else had a chance on this one. But it’s been 2 days so....
Wysperra, can I please ask for a couple points of clarification?
What exactly did you mean by “slick with steam?” Do you mean the water vapor is condensing on the cold stone walls and they are wet like the bathroom walls during the winter after a shower?
I read 10 wide and 10 high as the width of the corridor and the height of the ceiling. But then you mentioned the stones were later in a manner which makes them “difficult to break through.” Is there some sort of barrier that I missed in my reading, or was that a general commentary about the structure of the walls? (If that was just commentary, I presume, since we are underground, that what lies on the other side of those walls and ceiling is solid earth and the strength of construction was prevent potential cave-ins.)
IC:’“Hold up, better not to walk blindly into even more trouble today. Maybe Tommary should go all stealthy like and peek around the corner so we have some idea what lies ahead of us. What do you all think?”

You're in a volcano in the middle of a swamp. The air is hot, and humid, just on the edge of being a sauna. So yes, like bathroom steam.
Also correct, the 10 by 10 is height and width of the halls. Yes, strength of construction to prevent cave-ins in a non-assured environment, or break-ins in the case of a vault. Elyona is familiar.
OOC: I just always go here when people talk about steamy tunnels (I'm pretty sure that environment was in fact not a dry heat and more what we're talking about)

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ok, if the party wants to get behind me, I'm going to make two "light" coins I'm going to skip over the floor in a sort of bounding overwatch style. I'll aim to skip one out about thirty feet, when I'm fifteen feet behind that coin, skip out the next one thirty feet past it. Hopefully I don't create a hypnotic pattern and lull us all into a trance, but "'Slow is smooth, smooth is fast,' as they taught me in Scout school."
OOC: Yes, I'll be pie-ing corners too, if you want to Youtube "pie a corner" and CQB. Tommary is all about playing the angles. Got a bunch of projects so in case I drift away I'll give a Perception check in case its needed for something 26.
