Is anyone else excited about this?!?! I loved the Alchemist from Pathfinder. They literally had a ton of tricks of their sleeve. I am the worst a multiclassing my characters let alone construct a new class will multiple subclasses. Forgetta 'bout it! I would love to see this for 5e. The other one that really interest me is the Cardcaster: Jack of Beasts subclass... Cardcapture Sakura anyone!!
Anyway I haven't seen anyone talk about this and was curious to know what someone with more experience thought about these soon to be published classes.
As a semi-experienced DM (2 years or so) I think from the flavor text, these classes look pretty neat!
I have made a Cardcaster homebrew myself a year or so ago, and really like the concept. I have always wanted to play a wild-magic wizard type thing, and that really intrigues me. Plus, not being able to always have access to everything at your disposal makes you need to take some creative measures to get things to work. Plus, I have never met another Sakura fan and it would be pretty cool to play as a Sakura type thing. Maybe you could collect the Tarot (or other type) cards as you go? Like occult sources like hags and liches may have some that you could add to your "spellbook" like a wizard does.
Meh. At least three or four of the classes could be accomplished with just a bit of reflavouring of the existing ones and most if not all of them are too niched to warrant a whole class of their one. But it's nice to see people expanding on a game they enjoy. :)
It might not be all that useful to reply to a 4 year old thread that apparently never got a single reply. D&D can do Anime, but not very well. It's not designed for that.

All around, sounds cool!
