Can you cast a bonus action spell such as hunter's mark with a readied action?
ready nevermind it's right in the description that the spell must be an action spell specifically...
what about readying a feature like Slayer's prey which is a bonus action (according to RAW no) but it's kind of weird though since it makes an exception for movement to be used which is a separate action on its own like object interaction which also can be used with ready...
Just trying to find a way for a monster slayer to not have to take 3-4 rounds to fully build up for combat, oh well.

If you upcast hunters mark… it lasts for 8 or 24 hours…
so if you’re higher level, and hunting “bigger monsters” you can stalk them down in your favored terrain and etc. cast hunters mark, leave set up and get ready, and return before the 8/24 hours is up.

No Ready a spell must have a casting time of an action.
Bonus Action from feat or feature also can't be Ready.
