With this combo Fire Bolt does not do the same damage on every bolt.
If you are using Twinned Spell, one of your bolts will (at level 11) do 3d10+10, and the second will do 3d10+5. The Cha damage bonus from Elemental Affinity only applies to one damage roll of the spell that was cast. Twinned Spell does not cast the same spell twice.

You don't know what fear is until you've witnessed a drunk bird divebombing you while carrying a screaming Kobold throwing fire anywhere and everywhere.
Also, and not to be a kill joy, you cannot use more than one metamagic at a time. Well apart from Empowered, but that only helps damage rolls.
On a single casting, yes, not a single round. What the OP would be doing is using Twinned Spell on casting Fire Bolt as an action, and Quickened Spell to cast anotherFire Bolt as a bonus action. Totally legit by RAW.

Hi, just doing some thinking and seeing if this was a good combo or not.
I'll use wis20(+5) and chr20(+5) for calculations.
Cleric Arcana level 8 with fire bolt and potent spell casting
Sorcerer Draconic Bloodline (Red) level 6 with Elemental affinity + Twinned and Quickened. ( 3 sorcery points)
the results would be 3 fire bolts of 3d10+10, maximum of 120 divided by 2 targets at 120 feet distance. (level 14)
at level 17 - 3 bolts of 4d10+10, maximum of 150 divided by 2 targets at 120 feet distance just for a cantrip.
I know there is much stronger combos for melee fighters, but does this seem decent for a spell caster at ranged?
I need to say have a problem, Potent Spellcasting just work to cleric cantrips so fire bolt does't work for this combo
Please don't necro old threads. The math is correct, but I'll clarify for you. Potent Spellcasting applies to any Cleric cantrip. OP has taken 8 levels in Arcana Cleric, and has used that to learn Fire Bolt as a Cleric cantrip. Potent Spellcasting applies to this. The OP has also taken 6 levels of Draconic Bloodline (Red) Sorcerer, so they are able to add their Charisma modifier to a single damage roll of spells which deal fire damage. Fire Bolt has a single damage roll for each casting, so this build is absolutely able to add a +5 from Wisdom and a +5 from Charisma to the damage roll for each bolt.

Now that is an idea, for my gold dragonborn..
He needed a choice of range or double up more..
But that would really make sense for his next choice.
First quicken; a single bolt then, follow; with a twinned if needed.
No.. I guess reverse that, the quicken cost more soc.poi.

Good to know since I am not at 6th yet and Avrae doesn't do sorcery points yet.
ie.. that is "manual" rolls commands.

Illusionist Bracers could help with the problem of no two metamagics at a time. Allows this combination to be valid.
