Hello everyone! My name is Gary and I'm a DM looking for players for a long-term collaboration.
The campaign setting is homebrew (Victorian era-like with aesthetics of Bloodborne, Penny Dreadful and Alienist), but lore-friendly to all the official books. As of the moment of this post we have already played 2 sessions. One of our players unfortunately had to leave so we're looking for that 1 more. There will of course be recap of everything that happened, all you need is a lvl 3 character.
Why only a one time payment of 15$?
The campaign will be livestreamed on a dedicated YouTube channel. Ideally I see it as at least a two year endeavor where we come together once a week and livestream a ~3 hour session. The one time payment is to ensure a form of commitment between the parties involved. It may not be much to some, but hopefully it will at the very least feel like an investment of sorts.
Game: D&D 5e 2014 rules with Rule of Cool (nat 1 and 20 are crit fails/successes on skill checks), with muskets and pepper-box options for firearms users Group type: Online, livestreamed discord video calls Experience: I've been roleplaying in different capacities (always text-only) since late 2009. As far as dnd 5e goes I'm fairly new with only two years of experience but in that time I dmed in text format in a tri-shot of my own making and have been a co-dm for a discord server where I made encounters for late-game characters (up to 17 level). As far as players go, I really don't care if you're new to the game or not, I will do my absolute best to make it work for veterans and newbies alike and to provide a fun experience for all involved. Location/Timezone: My personal timezone is GMT +2, we usually play on Thursdays 3 pm EST / 8 pm GMT Schedule: Ideally on a fixed day and time once a week, however I fully understand if you won't always be able to make it. We have a discord server and my dms are always open in case you wish to reschedule, but I would expect you to say if you won't be able to make it in advance (ideally at least two days before the session). Roles sought: Player Game style: For now I'll say it's in the territory of no pvp, heavy roleplay and with permadeath as a possibility (you will be able to make backup characters).
If you are interested please provide your name, experience in dnd 5e and a convenient way of contacting you.
