Yes, I did chose this username to be the punchline of a joke.
35.55/35 for Dragonfire (expending the extra half a charge to increase the summon's power, since it LOOKS like we're done with action dropping nonsense for now)
The shopkeeper grins. "Alright! Two down! Just..." He blinks and almost starts crying. "14 more to go." little voice that nobody else can hear. "No. I'm fine." voice "My voice has NOT gone all high and squeaky." voice "Shut up, I'm not going to cry. I'm NOT."
He sniffles a bit and leans over in his shopcart, and flips a switch.
Somewhere else, a Player is readying his sword for battle against the mighty beast of the final dimension in his quest for glory and ultimate mastery over the world. He raises his sword and charges forward. The great black dragon careens around, letting loose a powerful roar... and flies right through a portal that wasn't there a minute before. The Player stops and drops his sword, utterly bewildered at the sudden turn of events. And then he gets eaten by endermen.
Out on the battlefield, under aeisenberg's control, ascending from the ground come 8 massive pillars of black stone, topped with purple floating crystals. Through a portal comes a large flying black dragon of immense power. The Enderdragon has been summoned.
How the enderdragon works: First off, there are 8 Obsidian Pillars. Each of these pillars provides the enderdragon with a small bit of regen, BUT each time one is destroyed it deals a portion of damage to the enderdragon's health. The enderdragon itself has two actions it can choose from each round. It can choose to use either: Dragon slam: Deals high damage to a single target and applies the "launched" status effect on them for two rounds if they aren't a flying entity. While launched, the entity cannot target non-flying entities, and cannot be targeted by grounded melee entities. If the status effect runs out on its own (ie: isn't dispelled) the target takes heavy damage a second time upon it running out. Dragon fire: Deals moderate damage to up to three targets, and applies the "enderfire" status effect to them for three rounds. Enderfire is a standard DoT status effect. This is an either/or choice, not a "both" condition. The enderdragon only acts once per round.
Anyways, Aeisenberg is now the (presumably) proud owner of a brand new enderdragon. Enjoy owning a boss, buddy.
However, this once, I'm willing to postpone the summoning of the Enderdragon, because we have a nuke getting ready to blow the battlefield to smithereens and I'd be moderately annoyed if my first boss-strengthed entity got obliterated by a one-post-charge bomb. If aeisenberg posts saying he doesn't want the dragon yet, it does not summon until the hydrogen bomb goes off.
(OOC: "Aeisenberg: Flex tape rapier (minor attack butt)". I so hope that's a typo...)
That bomb is getting dangerously close to exploding, so I cast shatter with a lute cord on the Eishalon, slowly backing towards the tear where the sidequest is.
it's not Really a typo... see, on my end at least, the basilisk's box covers the top of the text, so I thought 'hey, if I change it from buff to butt, it'll look exactly the same. heheh, ima do that.' Still, I feel like giving you some form of reward for noticing it so quickly... [Fl][TA][SA].. rolled 12. ((they're not in order of goodness though)) Your Flex tape Rapier suddenly starts generating new strips of flex tape! it stops eventually, but not before giving you about a meter of the stuff, in the form of like 10-15 palm-sized scraps. o-o-c-o-o-c-o-o-c-o-o-c. you attack the Eishalon! 25 -> M. of Folly has trouble moving! 18 M. of Folly braces for impact! 38

Unless the Godmodder steals it from you by bargaining you down from 30 charges to some dirt! kills it instantly somehow. eh, that won't happen. probably. The Eishalon picks up the black and white voidshard resting beside it, and Throws it, really hard! It gets hit by Aeisenberg before it can follow this up, but the shard flys through the air, piercing straight through the nearby squid for 1 damage mite[22], before crumbling a fortress wall,1 damage mite[17], and slashing into the NO elemengenertal[wounds]! it then keeps flying off into the distance. ... 2 energy consumed. retaliation finds the eishalon is still quite good at flickering itself around, failing all 3 rolls. again.

a few spiders skitter into view. big ones. amusingly, they can't climb trees, just hop up and down ineffectually near the base. uh, looks like you're safe, though you're not sure how to progress while staying on the treetops... Suddenly, you hear a loud crashing sound. then another. you look towards the source, just as a massive 4-pointed-star of death flys straight into you. you'll need to spend an action removing the damage, and you just fell straight off the tree... this should be fun, right? You can thank the eishalon for this, in case you're wondering. Also, you can continue doing charge-posts after your response to the current puzzle, either in a generic manner or to prepare for other ones, just in case it was unclear

'boss strength', you say? let's see, 35.5 charges of HP is 355 health- slightly less then the basilisk, but more then the first Eishalon*. for attack, 35.5 charges is 71. the basilisk had insta-stun and variable damage, but there weren't any entitys strong enough to consider that greater then 40. The first eishalon*, on the other hand, messed with player actions and could, in theory, kill every entity on the field at once... a few hundred attack, maybe, on a good enough day. so, sure, boss strength... if you ignore that with the Godmodder's higher base entity strength, applying launched isn't going to be so easy. Given how big an effect it'd be, launching will only deal slightly more then dragonfiring the target would, even with the landing damage. *Also, the second eishalon is being ignored, because 1 some of its stats are a mystery , and two its strengthened by the power of mistakes-where-made. Godmodder: look how inferior your little thing is! maybe it can clip my toenails, if it's even strong enough to do that. But alright, summoning postponed.
The deva looks at the bomb... and starts running away, very fast. the mammoth and squid idle. Again. The No Elemengenertal charges the shield bubble, making sure the blast won't him him. The Giant bar magnets act as well. the negative magnet heals the bomb (25), after the positive magnet hits the negative and amplifys it (24 healing). The Hydrogen bomb is flickering dangerously! it's about to blow! The Godmodder is currently a goodmooder. things are going swell... lets just, ah, empower that bomb a little bit more... yeah, sounds good. The eishalon uses LOloLolOLoc and RarAraRArARe again. it gains a status effect, and heals 1 damage mite!

iron is standard. not particularly good or bad for magic, otherwise like rl iron.Goldenrod: seems unimpressive... it acts like a metal, between iron and gold in strength. it's meh at magic, near as you can tell, and is about as good for building as iron, the main downside being higher rarity. ruby: Strong, angular. acts like a real life ruby. best for small areas under considerable pressure due to small size and higher strength. has a slight magical affinity, towards fire, as well as focusing diffused energy. Test Results for shadow crystals: Relatively brittle, though not so much as to weather away from the elements before this battle's done. much easier to cut along cleavage planes, resulting in thin sheets of crystal if struck with force. has a strong affinity for magic, but most powerful spells will cause it to shatter due to how brittle it is. a bad idea for building due to its many-times mentioned brittleness.Starmaterial is untested, but seems powerful based on the elemental's staff. not Eishalon related.

I order the squid and mammoth to leave the field for (5) rounds. They will return after that period. This will render them unable to attack or be attacked by anything on the battlefield for that duration. It also prevents their specialsfrom charging up... for some reason.
Also, if launched's secondary effects are too powerful just make it be an effect that deals tons of extra damage if it runs out naturally.
"Whoever did this... I hate them." Gene groans as she sits up. She can see that the shuriken is still stuck in her flesh, particularly her abdomen. She can also see that she is bleeding profusely from the wound. Taking the thing out now would only cause her to bleed more, and probably die. So, Gene instead decides to gradually remove the weapon while also using a healing spell to close the wound. This doesn't take too long because she knows that there are spiders waiting for her.
After healing herself, Gene stands up to face the spiders with the shuriken in hand.
