A whip of planes is a black bullwhip with the symbols of the four elemental planes etched on it. When the player whips with it they can choose to rip a hole in through one of the planes which causes different effects. The Fire plane causes lava and flames to spill through the tear. The Water plane would cause water to spill through the tear blinding people with water. Wind would cause a strong gust to fly through the tear and would knock over players in its path. Last, the Earth plane would cause boulders to ram through the tear. The tear remains open for one minute. A small creature could fit through the tear but a medium creature could not. The person who is attuned to the whip of planes can close the tear with a thought.
Proficiency with a Whip allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
