This dagger blade is hidden inside a leather wrist brace. A spring lock mechanism allows the dagger to be unsheathed and sheathed by a thread attached to the finger of the wearer.
Static Cannot be thrown.
Subtle When sheathed, the dagger is indistinguishable from an ordinary bracer.
Close Combat When a character succeeds in a grapple action, they may use their bonus action to make a single attack with the dagger.
Lethal Blow Attacks with the dagger score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20.
The dagger cannot be activated whilst the wearer is wielding another weapon in the same hand.
Proficiency with a dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
Notes: Cannot be thrown, Damage, Combat, Finesse, Light, Thrown
Assassins creed inspired (obviously), but you managed to make it DND usable. Not overpowered but looks very fun to use. Good stuff.
Thank you!
Although I never really got into the AC games myself this is absolutely inspired by that concept. Honestly I was surprised nobody else had published something like this previously.
My son read the Warriors & Weapons A Young Adventurers Guide & on page 77 "Special Weapons" there is the 'Push Dagger'. It's not in the official Weapons list & this will fulfill his obsession to own an AC dagger for his Rogue!
Thankyou
Glad to hear! I hope he enjoys it.
