Weapon (dagger), rare (requires attunement by a Warlock, Sorcerer, or Arcane Trickster (Rogue))

This ornate dagger has silver runes etched into the side of the blade. The cross-guard has small flourishes that give it the vague appearance of a scroll. The pommel at the base of the handle, which looks suitable for a wand instead of a dagger, has a gem placed in it that gives it a dim glow.

When you make a weapon attack with this dagger, as a bonus action you can expend a number of charges to deliver a spell through the blade. The number of charges expended is equal to the level of the spell. Using the dagger in this way allows you to ignore somatic components for the spell and counts as a spell focus in regards to material components. A spell cast this way uses the attack from the dagger to deliver the spell so a spell attack roll is not required, however if the spell has a saving throw, that still applies. The spell's range becomes touch and the target is the target of the weapon attack.

Attuning to this dagger allows the wielder to learn one additional cantrip that must be from the evocation school and can only be cast through the dagger.

Proficiency with a dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

Notes: This item could easily be retemplated to be a little more restrictive and possibly more common. Some potential options are creating a copy of this dagger and either restricting it's spell school, giving it a list of set spells, or both., Warlock, Sorcerer, or Arcane Trickster (Rogue), Finesse, Light, Thrown
