Wondrous Item, varies (requires attunement)

The magical power of dragons is known throughout the realms. These gems are the solidified tears of such such incredible creatures. Each Tear contains a portion of the dragons power manifesting first as each dragon's element and collecting more Tears grants the user more draconic powers.

Each gem must be attuned to separately, however multiple gems only count as one attunement slot. Each Tear can be set into jewelry or other such setting and can still be used as normal. Only one Tear can active at a time. Switching between active Tears takes a bonus action.

Ruby Tear (Rare). Tear of a Red Dragon. While active all of your attacks, including spells, deal an additional 1d8 fire damage.

Additional effects for multiple Tears:

2 Tears- Once attuned to two different Tears you gain resistance to one damage type of your choice that you have a Tear for.( Ruby/fire, Onyx/acid, Quartz/cold, ect...) You may only have one resistance active at a time and the resistance does not have to correspond to the current active Tear. Switching between resistances requires a bonus action.

3 Tears- Once attuned to three different types of Tears you gain a +1 bonus to CON and gain proficiency in CON saves, if you already have proficiency in CON saves you instead gain an additional +1 to CON.

4 Tears- Once attuned to four different types of Tears you gain Dragon Fear. Once per long rest you  can use an action to radiate an aura of fear similar to that of a dragon's. Each creature of your choice within 90ft must make a Wisdom saving throw or become frightened of you for 1 minute. The DC equals 8 + proficiency bonus + Charisma modifier. An affected creature can repeat this saving throw at the end of each of its turns ending the effect on a success. A creature that succeeds on its saving throw is immune to Dragon Fear for 24 hours.

5 Tears- Once attuned to five different types of Tears you gain the ability to breath an elemental blast much like a dragon's breath weapon. As an action you can unleash a 60ft cone of elemental power. Any creature in the cone must make a Dexterity saving throw or take 10d8 damage, half of that on a successful save. The damage type of this cone is determined by the Tear that is currently active. You regain the use of this ability after a long rest.
