Hit Die: 1d8 + 2.
If legends are to be believed, then once this needle was used by a tribe of Storm giants, and specifically belonged to a seamstress. Beautiful and fair, she was thought to be the pearl of the sky. Though she was born with a fury to match even the most vicious of barbarians. When she married to a husband, they vowed to each other loyalty above all else. The husband however, forgot this bond and broke it. The Giantess, her fury ignited, took out a needle from her pouch and sewed her husband to the Earth, stripping him of his Jotun pride. She'd then cast down her needle in a furious storm, her husband's blood cursing it to stitch all those who are pricked by its vile edge to the Earth that he was cursed too.
This "dagger" consists of a large, puffy leather grip wrapped around a thin, twelve inch long, needle like blade. The hue of the blade is that of a fine silver, and though the leather is worn, the blade is not. Save for a few dark splotches along the tip.
Special Ability: Earthbound Stitching - Once per day, the wielder of this dagger can immobilize a target via threads that appear from ground below them, regardless of terrain (Save if the target is 30+ ft. in the air). The target can make a CON saving throw on their turn to negate/rid the effects of the threads, with save DC of 15+. However, on a successful CON throw, the target now takes 2d4 piercing damage, and now has a "Bleed" effect on them. They take 2 points of damage per round.
Proficiency with a dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
Notes: Damage: Piercing, Long Rest, Attunable to Rogues, Bards and all Magic Classes. (No Fighters, Monks, Paladins, BHs, Barbarians, Gunslingers, Clerics.) , Damage, Control, Debuff, Movement, Combat, Finesse, Light, Thrown

Should be a Str saving throw I think. Makes sence
You know, I didn't think about that before. Feel free to use a STR roll for the saving throw if you'd like. My original thinking with the ability is that the threads are more painful then they are strong and you'd have to will yourself to break them off.
In other news, man do people seem to not like this weapon.
