The Whisperer is a type of weapon used by the Silent Warriors, a forgotten sect of believers into the Elder Gods. They went extinct a long time ago, but their artifacts can still be found. The wielder of this weapon has to be a Divine magic user. The Whisperer is a black morningstar that emits very quiet whispers unless it is attuned to someone. Once attuned to a user, the Whisperer transforms so that it best suits its master. According to the users weapon proficiencies it can take shape of the following weapons: Dagger, Mace, Spear, Battleaxe, Longsword, Morningstar, Shortsword or Warhammer. The shape of the weapon is determined by the user during attunement and cannot be changed until the user dies. When that happens, the Whisperer returns to its original form (morningstar).
You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. In addition, you can cast Dissonant Whispers at first level as an action once per long rest.
Proficiency with a Morningstar allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, cleric, paladin or warlock, Damage, Combat, Sap
