"Seeing as we hadn't seen or faced any other goblins on our route in, I suggest we attempt to retrace our steps in order to find a similar way out, that way we can avoid any stragglers we may have missed," Jackson says, respond to Harukai. He then turns to Gundren.
"My friend, I am glad you are okay. Let us safely escort you to where you need to be -- a safe place -- before proceeding to the mine to find your brothers."
"Not doing so bad yourself, I see!" Jackson yells back at Harukai shortly before taking yet another hit from the doppleganger. "AH! Could use a bit of assistance over here if you're done with the bugbear."
"Very well. If we are all in agreement, let us lead him home -- wherever that may be -- and let us retire to our quarters back at the inn for good, long rest. We should maybe update Mr. Volo, as well."
Expecting Harukai to follow in after him, Jackson waits for a moment, only to be surprised by Sildar barging into the room to fire off a spell at the bugbear. "TYR'S BEARD!"
Movement -- Reacting to Sildar's sudden and unexpected act of aggression, Jackson immediately drops his hood and rushes over to kneel beside Gundren, saying, "Open your eyes to the light, my friend, for we are here to save you."
Action -- Jackson then holds his right hand over Gundren and his left hand toward his allies, casting Aid at second level on Gundren, Harukai and Nil to give them +5 to both their current HP and max HP.
Bonus Action -- Jackson then casts Healing Word at first level on Gundren to bolster his dwarven ally: [roll]1d4+3[/roll]
Jackson then turns toward the battle, but remains in the same space to act as a protective shield over Gundren while the dwarf gets his bearings.
Still not quite understanding the social conventions of the city, Dolar awkwardly bows and follows both Siobhan and Phineas out the door once able. He turns to address Raenaer, saying, "Filthy man! We still aim to look for Floon. Will you join us, or will you flee?"
