    A related but more important issue related to this is that for content that appears in multiple sources, it appears you are currently locked out of the content entirely if you don't own the "correct" source. I've confirmed this with a few monster entries already, but the biggest pain point here will probably be the SCAG subclasses reprinted for XGtE.

    Are there plans to add Creature Rules support for magic items as well? For items like the figurines of wondrous power or elemental gems it would be great to automatically have the appropriate creatures added to the creatures section on a character's sheet.

    Really happy with these changes overall. Some miscellaneous feedback:

    • I noticed the HP scroll wheel triggers a vibration effect on my phone. I'd really like the option to disable this.
    • Tap-based navigation on mobile is a great change, but I think the menus are a bit too granular as is. As you get more traffic statistics, it'd be nice if the lesser/more viewed sections could be combined. For example, I'd prefer ability scores, saves, skills, and proficiencies in one combined menu as those elements would cover nearly all rolls a DM may ask me to make. The Combat & Actions and Description & Notes sections could similarly be combined IMO.
    • The spell display seems almost backward to me. I really want the ability to filter down my spell list, not be forced to page through by level. Additionally, I'd like more integrated spell management. Ideally, my unprepared spells should also appear in the main interface, only grayed out.
    • The "Other" Actions tab is a little confusing as it seems to combine features that are free actions and features that take longer than an action. More clarity here would be better, especially for newer players.

    Now that the character sheet revamp is almost here, can you elaborate more on your long-term goals for campaign management and DM utilities beyond an initiative tracker and virtual DM screen? For example, do you ever intend D&D Beyond to host full campaign wikis or will that be something left for potential VTT integrations and/or other programs?

    posted a message on [Mega Thread] Focused Feedback - Homebrew Content

    With homebrew races, I'd like to have an option to create a variant base race but keep or import subraces as they are. Right now it appears I'll have to recreate all subraces manually to achieve the same effect.

    Specifically, I'm trying to change some of the base aasimar features so there's less overlap with the celestial warlock patron features. However, I'm fine with all the subrace features as they exist, so I'd like to just duplicate those like I was able to duplicate the aasimar features initially.

    posted a message on Mobile Testing Bugs & Support Mega-Thread

    Not having any trouble on my phone (Android 6.0.1), but my tablet (Android 5.1) won't complete any downloads. It seems to crash, and while the content appears downloaded (the bookmark symbol appears) after restarting the app, it crashes when I click the source or I receive an error message about trying again on an active internet connection despite being on my home wifi. After trying to reinstall on my tablet, I'm also now receiving a login error.

    Additionally, both versions appear to redownload the manifest.json file each time they're launched, which doesn't seem intentional or economical.

    posted a message on Can't Add HP Maximum Modifier

    I recently suffered a -10 HP reduction on one of my characters. I located the fields to modify and override my HP Maximum in the builder, but the modifier resets whenever I return to the character sheet. Override seems to work fine, but using the modifier field would be preferable.

     Frankly, these are some ridiculous expectations. WotC does the exact same thing with errata for the physical books (they've already issued corrections on Twitter regarding errors in the first printing), but rather than the months it normally takes for WotC to publish errata, the issues here on Beyond will probably be fixed in a matter of weeks.

    Last time you showcased that the app will have smaller pages to better display content on mobile devices. Are there any plans to also update the pagination for the website as well (i.e. dividing larger sections, better navigation buttons, etc.)?

    Could you clarify the difference between the full sourcebooks and the compendium packages?

    My impression is that the compendium package gives a bare-bones version of the content, with most of the crunch included but excluding fluff. So with Volo's Guide for example, the compendium package would include all the race options and monster stat blocks, but none of the monster lore (like the detailed chapters on beholders, giants, etc.). Is that correct?

    After the latest update, I've noticed my cantrips are being counted as prepared spells, so my sheet says I have 20 spells prepared when it should only say 15.
