posted a message on What are the current, active D&D Beyond Coupon Codes?

my point was you buy the books, then purchase the legendary bundle after buying all the books, or buy everything except for the cheapest item.  Then buy the bundle.  You just don't need to wait for a legendary bundle code to get that pricing.

you know you can use the regular 25 percent off coupon and add all the books.  Buy them then come back and purchase the Legendary bundle?  I think the difference is minimal or it was the last time I checked.  Just something to think about rather than waiting for a legendary bundle code to come out.

Check your add-ons as well.  I had that issue and had to disable both of the DND beyond addons, toolbox and helper, then login.

Stormknight is it possible that the statblock for Samara Strongbones is incorrect?  Her hitpoints show 27 with 6d8, though since she is small shouldn't it be more accurate at 21 with 6d6?  Not sure if the statblock came from WOTC or elsewhere.

It's absolutely as per the book - we make sure that content on D&D Beyond is as published by Wizards of the Coast.

Area X7 defines that Samara uses the spy stat block, then states some changes. There's no change specified to hitpoints or hitdice.

Normally when a standard creature is adapted from Medium to Small, you're right, they drop the hitdice from d8 down to d6, but haven't done so in this case.

I guess Samara is tough for a halfling!

Well she is fighting a Minotaur so she'd have to be pretty tough.  Thanks again Storm.

Chapter 5, Xanathar's Lair, Areas of the Lair, area X6, there is a bad tool tip:

Joining a Tournament. If the characters enter during a tournament, they see a minotaur battling a scarred female halfling, [Tooltip Not Found] (see area X7).

    Hi there,

that's Samara Strongbones. I added the tooltip yesterday, so you may need to force refresh the page or clear your browser cache.

Thanks Storm, I'll do a refresh, I may have a few like that.

Another tooltip issue, area X7 cell D.

[Tooltip Not Found], a female lightfoot halfling, is a Zhentarim spy in league with Manshoon. She is chaotic evil and has these racial traits: She is Small, and her walking speed is 25 feet. She can move through the space of any Medium or larger creature. She has advantage on saving throws against being frightened. She speaks Common, Halfling, and Undercommon.

Yeah as I read further in the adventure it dawned on me that this was probably what was going on, otherwise you'd have links everywhere for no reason.

Seems that the Kenku link was missed in a number of places in chapter 1.  Zhentarim Hideout is one area and I'm pretty sure there are some other chapter 1 areas where the link was missed.

Knocking at the doors or the window alerts a group of kenku inside that someone is coming. The kenku scramble to hide behind toppled furniture, making a ruckus that any character who has a passive Wisdom (Perception) score of 16 or higher can hear. These kenku are all that remain of the Xanathar Guild force that murdered almost everyone in the warehouse after the five Zhentarim thugs captured Renaer Neverember and Floon Blagmaar and brought them here. Floon was taken away, but Renaer succeeded in staying alive by hiding. Now, the young noble is trying to figure out how to slip past the kenku, who are lazily searching the warehouse for loot while waiting to see if any more Zhents show up.

Unless that was intentional due to the linking in the individual areas for the hideout.

posted a message on Can help with Homebrew creation!!!

Currently you can't build a full class in the homebrew, if you need to do a sub-class best bet to figure it out is to copy a current sub-class and make whatever changes you need.  That will help with the basic structure and understanding it.

Have you tried having everyone clear their cache?  I know that this fixes a more than a few problems, though I wouldn't think all of the players would be having the issue.

    Chapter 3 Xantharl's Keep , suggested encounter:

Guards on the rooftop of the keep spot a frost giant approaching from the west with a small army of fifty goblins and ten hobgoblins, plus five ogres equipped with goblin huckers (see the “Goblin Huckers” section in chapter 2).

hobgoblins is linked to goblins rather the hobgoblin monster entry.  It looks like a full link in the adventure but as you can see above the link isn't right.
