"Agreed, we should all part ways for a small while, if we troop off together now the whole cover off this caravan will be blown"  Gideon turns to speak to Gryffen " Pass a message to Ophelia, keep the disguise and go about whatever business your guise would dictate, we can meet tonight, me and Kai will still no doubt be in the Inn with Alson"

"Let's see how this plays out, if our people look in danger a well placed coin could ease our passing here" he suggests in response. Gideon waits for Kai to remount before taking a position at his side to monitor proceedings.

Pulling the reigns Gideon stops  "Don't worry" he says to Alson "I'll make sure we get paid" Cantering slowly forward the Paladin turns in a wide arc before stopping Infront of Kai "we need to take some items onboard, I assume you stopped because you have a plan, or are we improvising?"

"Safe journey Captain, and good luck" Gideon watches the Captain mount his horse before giving a curt nod and in stiff military fashion turning away to tell the others of the encounter.

"If this, Dembargi is it?, runs the city then we are more than likely about to be searched" He eyes Alson before looking over his shoulder towards the caravan. "I sure hope you're not carrying anything you wouldn't want them to find my good man" he says just above a whisper, loud enough for Kai to hear.

    Gideon

The Paladin pulls his mount alongside that of the caravan leader, apprehensive of the approaching riders he quickly moves to hide the symbology of his order, tapping his travelling cloak it's colours change from that of deep red to a muddied and more neutral grey.

"Who's this lot then?" he asks to anyone in earshot.

    History: [roll] 1d20+4 [/roll]

Has Gideon seen this symbol or know who/what they represent ?

Pushing his mount forward to the next rise Gideon casts an eye back down towards the caravans, all seems quiet, people sleeping for the most part,  movement catches his eye as a figure moves between the wagons but he pays it no attention. Returning his focus to the road Gideon checks his surroundings.

Gideon chuckles to himself as he sees Gryffens evident relief at being away from the caravan again, pushing his mount forward he scans the country for anything out of the ordinary.

"I thank you chief for the compliment" Pausing the Paladin resits his scimitar within its scabbard "I have no desire to deceive, i need travel east to visit my Grandmothers seat and the order there, you will have no problems from myself" With the mention of his family seat Gideon briefly flashes the symbol of his order to Alson and the Chief, a small plaque showing a white castle on a red background, although estranged from the Order Gideon hoped its mention may settle the Chiefs nerves.

Gideon acts quickly to deliver the killing blow to the bandit, with a flick of his wrist he sends the ghostly spear towards the back of the trios last assailant.

    Spiritual Weapon: [roll]1d20+6[/roll]

    Damage: [roll]1d8+3[/roll]

Trusting the weapon he looks to stem his own bleeding, brushing over his wounds with the palm of his hands he offers a small prayer, a burning sensation engulfs his body as the blood clots, the wounds are still evident but the bleeding for now has been stemmed.

    Healing Hands: + 10 HP
