Mobile Armor. The Big Zam requires a pilot to function properly. Without a pilot, the Big Zam is suffers from the effects of being Prone and Petrified. When a pilot enters the cockpit, they must succeed on a DC 16 Intelligence check to operate the machine. On a success, the Big Zam then substitutes the pilot's Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores for its own and the pilot has full control of its actions.

Massive Superiority. The Big Zam's sheer size inspires fear in most beings. All creatures must succeed on a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw or be Frightened during their first contact with the machine.

I-Field. The Big Zam's Pilot can use its Bonus Action to activate the Mobile Armor's I-Field, a shield that deflects beam weaponry. When it is active, any attacks made with a beam-type weapon automatically hit, and half damage is dealt back to the attacking Mobile Suit. The Big Zam, meanwhile, is unaffected.

Nuclear Reactor. When it reaches zero hit points, the Big Zam's reactor explodes. All creatures within a 200-foot radius must make DC 9 Dexterity saving throw or take 199 (30d12+4) Force damage (half damage on a success). Meanwhile, the pilot must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or take 274 (50d10) Force damage (half damage on a success).

Actions

Large Mega Particle Gun. Dexterity Saving Throw: DC 10 (none if success), 5000 ft. line. Hit: 105 (10d20) Radiant damage.

Anti-Aircraft Mega Particle Gun. Dexterity Saving Throw: DC 10 (half if success), 300 ft. cone. Hit: 73 (7d20) Radiant damage.

Air-to-Air Missile. Ranged Weapon Attack: +17 to hit, range 500/1000 ft., 1 target. Hit: 49 (9d10) Bludgeoning damage.

105mm Vulcan Guns. Ranged Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, range 10/100, 1 target. Hit: 39 (8d8 + 3) Piercing damage.

 

 

Reactions

Eject. The pilot of the Big Zam can use its reaction to eject from the Big Zam's cockpit. This counts as the pilot disengaging; the pilot cannot be hit by opportunity attacks.

Description

The MA-08 Big Zam is a prototype Mobile Armor developed by the Principality of Zeon. The Big Zam is a massive, hulking beast of a machine, equipped with a high-powered Large Mega Particle Cannon and lined with dozens of Anti-Aircraft Mega Particle Cannons. As far as physical armaments go, the Big Zam has two 105mm Vulcan Guns fitted into the body above the Large Mega Particle Gun and six Air-to-Air Missiles. The Big Zam was piloted by Admiral Dozle Zabi of the Zeonic space forces.
