as a druid I find this kinda op
Not any. Only ones their character has seen. DMs I’ve played with consider many things, including back stories. For example, attempts to change to a velociraptor are denied. Once, a character’s back story listed all the animals, and was told to choose 5.
Another player’s back story identified that he was a renowned “Animal Whisperer” and animal doctor that travelled extensively
