Hooves. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (2d6 + 4) bludgeoning damage.
This guy can potentially one-shot himself.
Yes, you're right, if it CRIT attacks itself and rolls highest, yes. wow
It’s actually average
... but... how would you play out a horse "hoof-attacking" itself?
I think that could hoof attack a brick wall and break it's leg, it could then fall on the ground due to it's instability and eat dirt hard.
Yes, because they're vulnerable to bludgeoning damage. On average, if one of these guys attacks another one, the other one will die in one hit.
Which is why necromancers don't fight each other on horseback.
How does one create such an Undead? Asking for a friend.
The halfling fighter's noble steed!
The DM would have to make a spell or ritual to make one. The shadowfell and negative plane can make undead naturally but if you wanted to do it yourself the DM is the person to ask.
Wished there was a spell for raising non-humanoid undead (and perhaps change the alignment of zombies and skeletal horses to unaligned, they’re too dumb to have an alignment anyway)
So can warhorse skeletons snort, neigh, and make other horse-like sounds? Or are they absolutely silent?
The unnerving sound of bones clacking together... but otherwise I'd say fairly silent. Undead don't breathe.
If you are looking for a sick necromancer mount this be the way to go.
So, if you take control of one of these with Oath breaker’s Channel divinity, does that mean you can ride around on a skeleton horse? Maybe grab some better barding or something, if possible.
yes
Yes, when I was the DM, my sister (a PC) found one, and it wasn't evil, so she rides it all over the place now.
their alignment is evil to represent the fact that they will aimlessley kill any living creature they can see, and cannot be reasoned with or stopped in any way.
can happen in an official module,
dragon of icespire peak.
