Description
These flying reptilian cousins to the dinosaurs have no teeth, instead using their sharp beaks to stab prey too large to swallow with one gulp.
PTERANODON.
Beast Master MVP
Absolutely.
I buff his health to 25 and ac to 18 and made him a permanent pet that u can ride
How???
played a goliath druid (lvl 11) and summoned a flock of 8 of these things, used them to eat an adult black dragon
Thank you for the beautiful image of a imposing Goliath Druid being held aloft by scrawny lizards as he fearlessly take on a fully grown dragon.
I love the Beastmaster Halfling with a shortbow, sitting in the sky and raining death upon all who cross them.
Miiiiiiiight be better with lance(s) to take advantage of the Flyby feature, but then you'd have to take Heavily Armoured or be dependent on four ability scores, even in medium!
You can't do this with the Beast of the Sky unfortunately, since it's Small rather than Medium and so Halflings & Gnomes can't mount it.
Yes.
Surely finding pictures of dinosaurs is not that hard in this day and age.
Nothing screams talenta halfling more than one of those
Easily the best companion for a beastmaster
"These flying reptiles have wingspans of 15 to 20 feet", yeah, right, medium size it is. xD
This will be fun with my goblin rebel ranger Crirk
I agree
what? it's size is medium.
My first character was an elven beastmaster and his companion was a pteranadon.
They came from an island full of dinosaurs but it was destroyed by a volcano and he flew away on the pterandon (I know he is too large but the DM allowed it). He then went on to battle a deep scion, a bunch of giant rats, some kobolds, rescue a baby dragon, and conquer a neothelid, all before level three. He was also a successful brain surgeon.
meeeeeeep
Beast of the Sky is small size. Land and Sea are medium size.
*PTERANODON*
