Formation Tactics. Leonidas has advantage on saving throws against being charmed, grappled, or restrained while it is within 5 feet of another Spartan.

Wall of Shields. As long as Leonidas is within 5 feet of another Spartan and both are wielding a shield, the shields provide half-cover.

Indomitable (3/Day). Leonidas can reroll a saving throw he fails. He must use the new roll.

Warrior King. When Leonidas is reduced to 0 hit points, every Spartan within 30 feet may move up to their speed and make a melee attack as a reaction.

Actions

Multiattack. Leonidas makes four melee attacks.

Spear. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d6 + 4) piercing damage, or 8 (1d8 + 4) piercing damage if used with two hands to make a melee attack.

Shield Bash. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d4 + 4) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a Medium or smaller creature, it must succeed on a DC 16 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

Shortsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d6 + 4) piercing damage.

Leadership (Recharges after a Short or Long Rest). For 1 minute, Leonidas can utter a special command or warning whenever a nonhostile creature that it can see within 30 feet of it makes an attack roll or a saving throw. The creature can add a d4 to its roll provided it can hear and understand Leonidas. A creature can benefit from only one Leadership die at a time. This effect ends if Leonidas is incapacitated.

Second Wind (Recharges after a Short or Long Rest). Leonidas can use a bonus action to regain 24 (1d8 + 20) hit points.

Reactions

Parry. Leonidas adds 4 to his AC against one melee attack that would hit him. To do so, he must see the attacker and be wielding a melee weapon or shield.

Legendary Actions

Leonidas can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. He regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Weapon Attack. Leonidas makes a weapon attack.

Command Ally. Leonidas targets one ally it can see within 30 feet of it. If the target can see or hear him, the target can make one melee weapon attack using its reaction and has advantage on the attack roll.

Rallying Cry (Costs 2 Actions). Leonidas and all Spartans within 30 feet that can see or hear him regain 20 hit points.
