The Right Tool for the Job. Once per long rest, Kereth is able to produce one common magic item from within his Portable Hole. The item must either be used up or replaced back in the Portable Hole before another one can be produced.

Spellcasting. Kereth is an 8th-level spellcaster. His spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save 14 , +6 to hit with spell attacks). Kereth has the following Sorcerer spells prepared:
Cantrips (at will): Fire Bolt, Guidance, Mage Hand, Mending, Minor Disguise, Minor Illusion, Prestidigitation
1st level (4 slots): Disguise Self, Mage Armor, Magic Missile, Silent Image
2nd level (3 slots): Alter Self, Pyrotechnics
3rd level (3 slots): Counterspell, Tongues
4th level (2 slots): Confusion

Tides of Chaos. Once per long rest, you can gain advantage on one attack roll, ability check, or saving throw. Before you regain use of this feature, the DM can have you roll on the Wild Magic Surge table after you cast a 1st level or higher spell. You then regain the use of this feature.

Wild Magic Surge. Once per turn, the DM can have you roll a d20 immediately after you cast a sorcerer spell of 1st level or higher. If you roll a 1, roll on the Wild Magic Surge table to create a magical effect.

Actions

Sorcery Points. Kereth has 8 sorcery points that he regains when he finishes a long rest.

Dagger (3). Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit. Hit: 2 (1d4) piercing damage.

Dagger (3). Ranged Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, range 20/60 ft. Hit: 2 (1d4) piercing damage.

Fire Bolt. Cantrip: +6 to hit, range 120 ft., 1 target. Hit: 10 (2d10) fire damage.

Reactions

Opportunity Attack. You can make an opportunity attack when a hostile creature that you can see moves out of your reach.

Counterspell. You attempt to interrupt a creature in the process of casting a spell. If the creature is casting a spell of 3rd level or lower, its spell fails and has no effect. If it is casting a spell of 4th level or higher, make an ability check using your spellcasting ability. The DC equals 10 + the spell's level. On a success, the creature's spell fails and has no effect.

Bend Luck. When another creature you can see makes an attack roll, an ability check, or a saving throw, you can use your reaction and spend 2 sorcery points to roll 1d4 and apply the number rolled as a bonus or penalty (your choice) to the creature’s roll. You can do so after the creature rolls but before any effects of the roll occur.

Description

Kereth is an illusionist and aficionado of magic items. He hides his sorcerer abilities under the guise of a simple stage magician.
