Michael Galvis (@michaelgalvis) is a tabletop content producer for D&D Beyond. He is a longtime Dungeon Master who enjoys horror films and all things fantasy and sci-fi. When he isn’t in the DM’s seat or rolling dice as his anxious halfling sorcerer, he’s playing League of Legends and Magic: The Gathering with his husband. They live together in Los Angeles with their adorable dog, Quentin.
The side art on the character sheets always seems to get cut off when I open my character sheet. Is there a way to adjust this view?
no, this happens to me, too.
same, I have to use photo shop to get the image I want in the center, the rest is just blankness : /
yes, they have!
Very nice.
I saw how some folks got their stuff like the filled in proficiency bubbles to show up blue instead of dark gray. How do I do that on my sheet?
You have to manually change it. Just tap on it and something should pop up that allows you to change it.
not sure if this was mentioned, but how can we get the portrait into other shapes?
What do you mean?
on the image I put on the comment, the person's portrait border is a circle, mine is a sqaure. how can we get it into a circle?
Click on your portrait and then click on the change frame button.
got it
These comments sections need upvote buttons! This ^^^ So much THIS! I have clients hire me to do character portraits all the time and it is such a shame we can't display our character art more prominently on our sheets! I would love to design portraits which replace the entire background image so you can see your Hero peeking out between your stat blocks!
how are you able to see the side art on the background like this? when I pull mine up, it cuts off the art on the side
I clicked on it and it did nothing, it just opens up the sidebar with the description of the skill.
Sorry. Near the top of the sidebar is a button that says customize. Click that.
Can’t see anything. This has really got me intrigued now!
Create a "Bonus Spells" homebrew feat. In the feat creator, Add Spell, then select all spell levels (0-9) and all classes (artificer, bard, druid, etc.)
At the bottom, click "Is Infinite"
On the character sheet, go to Feats > Manage Feats... choose Bonus Spells "feat", and drop down menu with all the game's spells (including homebrew spells in your Collection) will be available. You can add as many as you want.
Spell will appear "at-will", but tell player it still uses slots.
I use this for spell scrolls, among other things. Customize the spell name on the ch. sheet to (for ex) Scroll: Cure Wounds.
Could we get some themes where the background colour of the boxes are darker, a black or nice dark grey so that for those of us who play late into the night aren't burning our retinas out.
I couldn't figure out how to use the image function. (I removed the image in this quote to make it a little smaller).
