This offer lasts until the book drops on December 6th.

If we purchase from our local game shop, are we still able to get the digital access or does it have to be purchase directly from WotC?
Are there animated portraits as part of the preorder perks?
No, the portrait frames for this pre-order aren't animated.
Edit: It looks like they added 3 animated frames now.
Only books purchase from Wizards will get a DDB code.
For me specifically the dice aren't showing up. I have everything else available in my character sheets but don't see the leather dice.
So are any of the 10 frames animated? Only count 6 frames. So 4 are animated?
So far, it looks like 10 normal frames (black robes, dragon fire, dragon lance, kender, knight of the crown, knight of the rose, knight of the sword, red robes, white robes, and takhisis), with 3 new animated ones (animated Takhisis, Animated Dragon Lance, and Animated Dragon Fire)
When on the 22nd? I'm chomping at the bit! Right at midnight and which timezone? Does anyone know?
Doesn't seem to work yet and it's past midnight PST which is where their HQ is....
Still no sign of this at this point. Not sure if they have ever done an - if you preorder, you get it early - thing before (at least that I am aware of), so no idea on actual timing.

Edit:
The WotC webpage has the count-down to the digital content unlock: 9AM central.
I have the dice, backdrops, and frames, no access to the book... Is the digital preorder not supposed to give you access to the book as well?
The only way to get the early access to the book is by purchasing the Digital + Physical preorder, either just the book, or the book and the TT-wargame.
Sorry, your wording is a little confusing... Could be the lack of sleep...
I only preordered the digital copy of the book.
Not the digital + physical and didn't do anything with the TT-wargame...
If I understood your reply correctly, I shouldn't have early access to the book then?
I've been playing dnd for a year and wanted to play for way longer before that
I pre-ordered the deluxe bundle got my early access but when will the full set be shipped I have yet to receive another email only email I got was the confirmation order
If it helps, you're not alone MortisGranitebone. I have yet to see any shipping update for my deluxe bundle physical items.
I wish i had this!

thanks guys,
wish you would actually address this. not like your OGL post and then we realize that there are actually alot of changes that really stifle the community in your changing the OGL and just straight up removing it all together. no heres a new one for new D&D. no more OGL for 5e or 3.5.
its really bad and shows a big disconnect between those running D&D and there base.
But when your CEO is telling you that the billions you make is not enough and you always have to make more money(cynthia williams saying in the investor call that D&D is undermonotized), eventually you will just run it dry and not make a good product.
never can make just alot of money, Companies have to make all the money.
WotC, your OGL post is nothing but lies. Open comments on that post, let your users discuss the straight-up misinformation you're pushing. You don't get to direct this conversation.
