What Is Revel's End?
Revel's End is a prison located in the frigid north of the Sword Coast in a region known as Icewind Dale. The prison first appeared in Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden, where it served as a setpiece to contain the region's dangerous criminals. An impenetrable fortress carved from a tall, blade-shaped rock, Revel's End is situated on the shore of the Sea of Moving Ice, allowing it to be accessed by land, sea, or airship.
The prison is under the control of the Lord's Alliance, and they use it to house those that have committed serious crimes against the member's cities, including Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter, and Waterdeep.
Any way you look at it, Revel's End is a tough nut to crack. The unforgiving environment, total isolation, and fortress-like defenses make the prison all but impenetrable. That is, unless you know the right crew.
Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It
You've been hired to infiltrate Revel's End and extract information from one of the prison's earliest inmates, a dwarven crime boss now known as Prisoner 13. How you break into the jail and gain the intel is up to you.

Wonderful!
Thank you
Wish we could get stats for prisoner 13's magic tattoos, maybe they'll be in the book?
Hmm… I've just been working on a campaign that has some heist elements, and I was looking for a good heist to put a hard to obtain (or unlock) item behind; this could be very well timed, as all it would need is a minor tweak of what the prize is and it could work out nicely.
Thank You!
I am excited about this...but am I the only one who thinks Prisoner 13 looks a lot like Vi from Arcane?
INCLUDES
Note: D&D Beyond Adventure Bundle and Legendary Bundle discounts are not valid with this purchase.
I was keen to pick up this anthology anyway, so the teaser/free content definitely sweetened the deal and encouraged the pre-order!
I really like that this adventure (Prisoner 13) uses a location also seen in Rime of the Frostmaiden, so you could easily place the key location in your homebrew world and run multiple adventures to/in it, or add the Prisoner 13 story to your Icewind Dale campaign, if you fancied it.
I don't plan on buying any more WotC D&D content, but the free adventure is certainly welcome. Tbh I might see about running it using Blades in the Dark instead of D&D.
vi looks different
Is this the adventure from where the movie takes place?
I may be reaching, but I would've thought they would want to release the modules about heists and break-ins to go along with the dnd movie...about heists and break ins. I think that they've had such bad publicity lately that they probably are dropping this early to either gain back some good grace from the community or distract from all the shenanigans that have been trying to pull. Probably overthinking it but..
Def overthinking it - you can preorder the book for month now. The movie was shifting realease dates around. No big bad here just timy whimey problems.
I doubt they've shifted it; we were about due a new release. Besides, they could delay for the movie's release only for the movie to be delayed so it's not usually a good idea to tie it in, meanwhile releasing the book sooner gives DMs time to plan how they're going to integrate some heisting of their own to time it for the movie.
The commercial video said there was a physical & digital bundle. I'm not finding any bundle...
Is this cuz I'm using mobile web page or just wizards again saying stuff that may or may not be true??
I really want to cheer for dnd but it's been so hard lately
Dang, that's pretty good
Found it. It's on the deongeons and dragons web page no dnd beyond. Seems dumb to not have it on both but whatever.
