Homebrew Krustaren Race Details

The Krustarens are the crab like humanoids who primarily inhabit the region of the oceans known as the Bhekeni Depths. The tempest magics of the sea caused the mutation of their kind from simple crabs to formidable and intelligent creatures who have created a small kingdom within the depths. While not entirely large they stand roughly at 4-5 feet tall, sporting hardened carapaces that act as natural armor and claws with which to attack would be foes. The Krustarens who leave the kingdom of the Bhekeni Depths typically do not travel too far inland, preferring to be close to salt water and far away from the sideways looks of the urban city folk, though their are some exceptions. Those who do not shy away from a Krustaren would find they are actual quite hospitable creatures who enjoy cooking meals for their guests and sharing stories of adventure.
