Homebrew Abyssal Entity Species Details

Long ago, the first Abyss was created. Abyss wandered his realm, of which he was imprisoned in, wanting to escape. Abyss found out that he could replicate himself through a process called Dripping. You are an Abyss.

Abyssal Entity Traits

Abyss Entities are unique creatures.

Abyss Shift

Being a mass of The Abyss, you are able to fit into any armor that is your size. You gain proficiency with that armor

Abyssal Breakthrough

Using the power of the first Abyss, you transform into a complete entity. Once per day, as a bonus action, you may transform into Abyss Tentacles. Your transformation lasts for 1 minute. You replace any weapons with a 1d12 Slashing and 1d6 Fire melee tentacle attack. This attack does NOT count as magical. While in this form, you can not be grappled by any creature your size or smaller, and larger creatures have disadvantage on grapples.

The Mission

You have no other purpose other than to prosper, therefore a true mind is not needed. You have a -3 to Intelligence, only being able to tell friend from foe. You are resistance to being charmed.

Age

Entities have not been observed to deteriorate with time. They are in their mature form when they are Dripped.

Alignment

Your alignment is Neutral.

Size

You can fit into medium size armor. Your size is medium.

Speed

Your speed is 35 feet.

Darkvision

Being born in pure darkness, your eyes have adjusted to those conditions. You have darkvision of 120ft.

Languages

Containing no mouth, you can not speak, but you were able to learn common.

Abyssal Behemoth

You have fused with your kind to create a monster of Abyss.

Ability Score Increase

You gain a +2 to your Constitution.

Abyssal Imp

Your body was morphed into a smaller form, therefore you can fit into small armor.
