Homebrew Advena Rentar Species Details

Rentar are like beastmen but reptile based instead. They live in the Gynak central desert, and often live in clans that are guarded and shielded by a spirit. These spirits embody the ideals of the tribe, and protect/isolate the tribe from others. These spirits are among the most powerful spirits in existence, and in their domain can even defy the gods. Those who live further south sometimes have been seen developing dragon-like traits. Rentar who go to Drayanum are given similar rights to humans, and live decent lives. They are physically strong and often gifted in fire and spirit magic. They are passionate and strong willed. They get along with humans and elves, but pity beastmen some. Although some Rentars bully beastmen. They get along with the Dragonborn quite well. They don’t know of the Flitorians. They fear but look down on the Teiflings. They don’t know much about the Merfolk. They see the orcs as mindless versions of themselves. They fear the Nymphs. They see the changelings as play things and as not dangerous, so they typically use them as performers. Their corrupted forms are Basilisks and Coldfangs. They live average 80 years.
